Summary: Placing bets and taking swings.

Let's get ready to rumble, boys and girls! A few quick notes:

Double check the fight roster--I moved some things around, namely matching up Firo with Homura since their respective opponents weren't able to participate. Let me know if something is amiss!

Characters who are fighting will be told their opponent's name upon arrival, and fights will proceed in the order they appear on the roster up there. Let me know if you need to be moved around for whatever reason!

Tony and Shikamaru will be policing the fights for any funny business, but fights will end when one of the participants forfeits or gets knocked out cold. So your character can get bloodied, bludgeoned, and broken and keep going if they wish! Remember, there's no magic since this is in the tunnels, and there are no weapons allowed in the fights. Just your fists, elbows, et cetera.

And should they have some owwies that need attention, Adele, Katara, Luca and Ange will be on hand to provide medical assistance. What troopers.

Spectators can interact however and whenever they want, so feel free to start a new thread for your character who is watching!

Now have fun, and earn some radical new scars while you're at it!

[She glares at him. She doesn't catch the reference, or how it ties in to their previous conversation, or how a little more knowledge could have shown her what he was thinking about when he looked at her like that.

But she doesknow that he's evading, and on top of that, that he knows exactly what she's talking about and is refusing to own up to it.

She doesn't find it funny.]

[If she hits him, Sokka will hit him, and then Masaomi will hit Sokka, and then Shikamaru won't get his fight.

But with her conversation with Sokka fresh in her mind, she's not going to let him go so easily either. If he thinks she won't say it, that she's too embarrassed to refer to sexual things, he's wrong. Or at least, he's wrong when she's angry.

Somewhat darkly:] I mean it, Masaomi. Looking at me that way makes me uncomfortable. Don't do it.

[I'm not just some random girl on the street. I'm your friend and I deserve more respect then that.

Which is what she would have said, if he wasn't about to go fighting. Instead, she doesn't even wait for him to respond before turning away from him, crossing her arms again, and resting back against the wall beside him with a small thump.]

[Grumble, grumble. That's not a threat, it's a promise, but the return to the previous topic is meant to lighten the mood.]

[that's said mock-jovially. Even with the correction (which... to be honest, doesn't sting nearly as much as she probably intends, even with the dark tone - even if it is sobering) this has relaxed him quite a bit. distracted him]

[Katara rolls her eyes and follows suit by continuing to look straight ahead.]

[Yeah, the dry tone may indicate exactly how seriously she took that statement. Seriously, "I have no choice but to oogle" is not the kind of compliment she'd want to accept, and she's still too annoyed to be flustered by it.]

Well. Okay. She relents a little and claps her arms a little less tightly to herself.]

Ignore that little was resolved about the whole fighting thing. After this he actually feels a little better.]

[Well, she didn't come over here to convince him not to go through with it - or to cheer him on, since that would hardly be fair to Shikamaru. She just came over here because he didn't look good. And she'll be perfectly content to watch the remainder of the current match at his side in as detached and critical manner as possible (which will include winces and huffs and a bit of looking away. this is so stupid.) until it ends and she can go bother Adele about that antiseptic.

Or until he starts to look like he needs to be distracted again, at which point she'd break the silence, if he hasn't done so already.]

[Well, he'll just watch the rest of the matches with a sort of an easy silence. he's still dreading his match but with her next to him, with someone supporting him- even if it was probably not her intention. But the silence does stick out, particularly with her huffing and puffing]

You know, that one with Xion-chan was the least fair, I think.

[Glancing over at him, glad for the distraction.]

Because of Ed's arm?

[It was a bit like carrying a weapon in the ring.]

Yeah, exactly.

[And... something seems off about one of his legs too. It's not as obvious as the arm, but with Ed's fighting style involving as much kicking as it does but Xion's short so I'm just assuming sob that's been bugging him too]

She did pretty well, though. [Dodging until forfeiting, is what I heard basically happens.] I know she's been training with Suki for a while.

[Sidelong. Glance. At least she knew when to stop. Unlike some of these other matches...]

Mostly. [She winces a little as one of the combatants gets in a particularly brutal hit.] It's different without the fans. They use other weapons too, but those are the ones I always think of for the Kyoshi Warriors. I was thinking about joining them on Sundays, but...

[But it'd be kind of weird to give that much of her attention and allegiance to her brother's fiance.]

But I kind of like having Sunday mornings free.

[Since God knows she's never free at any other point in time.]
