Let's get ready to rumble, boys and girls! A few quick notes:

Double check the fight roster--I moved some things around, namely matching up Firo with Homura since their respective opponents weren't able to participate. Let me know if something is amiss!

Characters who are fighting will be told their opponent's name upon arrival, and fights will proceed in the order they appear on the roster up there. Let me know if you need to be moved around for whatever reason!

Tony and Shikamaru will be policing the fights for any funny business, but fights will end when one of the participants forfeits or gets knocked out cold. So your character can get bloodied, bludgeoned, and broken and keep going if they wish! Remember, there's no magic since this is in the tunnels, and there are no weapons allowed in the fights. Just your fists, elbows, et cetera.

And should they have some owwies that need attention, Adele, Katara, Luca and Ange will be on hand to provide medical assistance. What troopers.

Spectators can interact however and whenever they want, so feel free to start a new thread for your character who is watching!

[Or a friend in particular. Blatant ogling! Threats must be carried out. Moreover, she's mildly irritated that they're doing this in the first place, if by mildly we mean she's been here for hours watching people get beat up and unable to do anything about it.]

I know well how it is to have friends acting foolishly. Though in my case I usually used an antiseptic that he was allergic to. Nothing dangerous, just a rash that would bother him for days. That let him know how much of an idiot he was being.

Hmm. Failing that? [She holds her hand up for Katara to see and pinches the meat of her palm between her thumb and pointer finger.] Pinch here. It won't hurt him, not really, but it's uncomfortable enough to get a man to pay attention to what it is you have to say. And sometimes they even listen.

[That. Is incredibly useful information. Which Sokka probably won't thank you for.]

I might try that some day. [And this more muttered than not:] But I think he'd just turn it into a joke or something.

[He'd be too glad that he got her wound up enough to break her control than caring about the reasons for it, and she's starting to realize that about Masaomi. And then she laughs a little, smiling in a sort of wry way.]

The more I think about it, the more I'm sure he deserves the iodine.

I have found that the trick is this: Do not emote when you slap them upside the head, or pinch their hand. Do not look angry, do not look frustrated, do not look, well, anything. That is what makes it disconcerting, that is what makes them listen. Apparently men respond well to the appearance of apathy.

[Now why that was, Adele can't say. She didn't entirely understand it, but they did respond to it.]

[Katara shakes her head. She wishes she could take Adele's advice, but... she's just not sure that's possible.]

They're the last match. [And then some concern.] They both know what they're doing, so, when it stops it'll probably be due to something pretty severe.

If it escalates beyond what we think is reasonable, we are obligated to step in. I'm only going along with this foolishness because I think most here would know when to quit. If not? We do have people here that will prevent the combatants from severe injury.

[Reasonable. Ha. Reasonable isn't coming down here in the first place. She shakes her head.] They're not here to follow what I think is reasonable. [She knows. She already tried talking them out of it.]

It's got to come from inside them both until they find their limits, or it won't count and they'll just do it again.

[She knows that and she doesn't like it. But she said shed' be there for them after it. She respects them to know what they're doing, mostly, even if she doesn't understand it.]

As long as they're both still fighting, I have to let them. But if it turns into something else, then... that's when I'll stop it.

Remind me again to be especially unkind to Stark when he requires treatment. [Adele mutters, glaring out at the profile of the idiot that started this mess.]

I have not lived here long enough to know of any of the violence a draft brings, or an invasion, or a war. But do we not suffer that enough without beating each other bloody on our own time? This is...[She sighs and shakes her head, looking back over to Takara.] Lunacy. in it's purest form. I can only hope the individual combatants, and your friends, know not to go too far. Supplies are here, yes, but limited.
