What: Star Wars Movie Marathon
When: February 21st to whenever its done
Where: Luke and Ben's place
Summary: Luke and Ben have decided to just end the constant cycle of confusion and actually WATCH the Star Wars movies. There is soda (gasp!) popcorn, canned tea, and all sorts of other movie related nonsense.
Rating: PG, same as the movies (Could get PG13? doubtful)

[Luke notices Robert standing off by himself, and he decides to attempt to pull him into the party. He remembers their previous conversation, and figures that perhaps the best way is to engage him on his interests...WITH SCIENCE!!!! Have a Jedi all up in your business, this time with a DROID]

Robert? Hey, its good to finally meet you in person. I hope you are well after the last week. If you have a moment, I'd like to show you what I managed to get finished, with that project we were speaking about the other day.

[... Oh, hi, Luke. Robert startles just a bit when Luke approaches, before offering a nervous smile to the Jedi, fiddling a little with his lab coat sleeves. SCIENCE!!! is definitely a topic that gets his attention, though, so he brightens almost immediately.]

Ah... c-certainly, Mr. Skywalker... I would b-be most enthusiastic to... peruse your droid...

[Luke leads Robert over to a small table, pointing to a small, grey sphere covered in various openings and silver studs. A primitive approximation of a training remote]</i] I'm still working out how to make it more functional than just floating around, but its a start.

[Robert approaches curiously, never touching so as not to damage delicate equipment but rather studying as closely as he can without dislodging the components.

After a moment, he glances up, beyond fascinated.]

It is... qu-quite the achievement, for... for being limited by L-Luceti...

... Do you have any... eventual u-uses in mind for such a droid...?

Honestly? No. I just felt it would be nice to have some around. These little guys are basically floating alarm systems. I actually requested the power-cells from the Malnosso, though. A "reward" for doing their recon mission in the jungle with Leonardo. I've got a few more, so I could probably make a couple of these little guys.

[Robert nods a little, his expression pondering.]

... Still, if... s-simple droids are possible, then... more c-complex projects may... yet be undertaken, w-were the Malnosso to be... cooperative.

Yes, this is true. Doctor Eggman and I were discussing ways to craft "Forge Droids" to help speed work along on newer ones, as well. These things here are incredibly simplistic. But with more parts, anything is possible.

[As much as Robert is unsure about the good doctor's methods, he can agree that his work is impeccably good.]

... Doctor R-Robotnik is... very skilled h-himself, so I would... not be surprised if he was a-adept at using recycled parts...

... Depending on what we have... a-access to, this could become... significantly easier, yes.

[Luke was equally unsure about Eggman's designs, but he wasn't one to turn away help. Besides, the good doctor hadn't been overtly...Dark Side. Megalomaniacal? Yes. Strange? Yes. But not truly...evil]

It could indeed. Who knows, if we can acquire enough scrap we can perhaps have the droids build basic things we do need that we aren't provided.

[Honestly, Robert doesn't think he's truly evil, anyway. Definitely misguided. Certainly power-hungry and aggressive and dangerous if pushed. But... evil...? He's hesitant to apply such a term to Eggman, not when he's seen genuine good coming from him. Not when he's seen Eggman feel.]

That would c-certainly be... an achievement w-worth mentioning... I am u-unaware if such a feat has been p-previously attained in Luceti, but... I w-would be surprised, if it had...
