Movie Marathon!

Who: Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Arsene Lupin III, Ami Mizuno, Adele Leblanc, Leonardo, Gambit, and anyone else who has the desire to show up.
What: Star Wars Movie Marathon
When: February 21st to whenever its done
Where: Luke and Ben's place
Summary: Luke and Ben have decided to just end the constant cycle of confusion and actually WATCH the Star Wars movies. There is soda (gasp!) popcorn, canned tea, and all sorts of other movie related nonsense.
Rating: PG, same as the movies (Could get PG13? doubtful)

In which Luke has a dork moment!

[During the film, Luke actually remains fairly quiet, not speaking to anyone in particular. His eyes are focused, almost as though he's reading a history book. He had, of course, heard of Qui-Gon from Obi-Wan, but he had no idea how curious the man had been.

The first scene in particular that get a reaction from him is when R2-D2 first appears, rolling merrily along.]

Is...that Artoo? Really?!

Where did you think they came from? [Soft and not unkind. Just curious, her voice pitched so Luke could hear from where Adele was curled up on the sofa. Avoiding tickling from Gambit and Glares from Lupin.]

Honestly? I thought R2 came from a droid factory on Balmorra. I...had no idea he was from Naboo. [That and from an escape pod in the sky...but his attention is diverted by a certain young child appearing on the screen. He knows who it's supposed to be...and that freezes him mid-thought...]

Father?

[Luke seems to be handling these with more curiosity than emotion, but then, this was the distant past for him. Adele isn't worried overmuch by the first three films, but the next...she is simply glad she requested that Helios bring over another dose or two of her medication.]

He was adorable, yes?

Artoo? Or...my father? [He's not about to call Darth Vader adorable...]

Artoo. [It was the safer choice, here.] And immensely helpful.

He is. A wonderful little guy, even though he keeps getting into trouble.

I will not lie. When I was younger I did so wish I had a friend like Artoo.

He's good to have around. Threepio is too, sometimes...

Now growing up I did have a friend much like Threepio, though he was an actual butler, not a droid.

Truly? Threepio has gotten better over the years though.

I never spoke a word against Threepio. James was...immensely helpful when it came to my studies. He even instructed me in the fine art of sarcasm.

An art we should all perfect. Except Han, he's already too good.

I would dare say Ben could give him a run for his money.

Perhaps, though married life has sharpened Han's wit quite a bit.
