[Unfinished, Open]
Who: Aya & Itachi (Anynone's welcome to join them, however.)
What: Sparring.
When: Few days after the hunter event.
Where: By the river.
Summary: Well, there's going to be sword swinging. Other than that, I do not know, yet. (A lot of communication through different shades of 'Hn'?)
Rating: G-PG-ish?
Aya didn't feel particularly strong when he was strolling through the snow towards the river. He felt like blowing off some steam by making his sword hiss, however. By the way a lot of these people acted, and by sights he had been privy to, Aya knew he must not be able to level with them, even if his sword had been his lover, friend and enemy 24/7 for the past four or five years. He was just your regular assassin, no crazy powers or inhuman attributes. He hoped that this person, Itachi, would be able to keep it just there, simple communication through solid steel.
When he found a nice spot with enough clear space to make sure the fight wouldn't turn into scampering in the woods, he paused to wait. He stood there just simply looking at the icy river, breath misting the air, katana hanging from his fist.

Refusing to let go of his sword made sure his fingers ended up a little numb from the hit. He let the katana slip down as he sidestepped yet again to avoid leaving himself completely open. It wouldn't have been that difficult to just direct the spear aside, but Aya had decided to see this through different route. He spun around, knowing the spear's pointy end was somewhere far behind him by that time, letting his katana gather momentum from his body movement and then brought it down towards Ken's shoulder. It would take some maneuvering, but he trusted the boy would be able to dodge, and Aya was already prepared to jump over the spread that would most probably sweep towards his legs in a moment.
[ooc: >.> I hope this makes ANY sense at all. :D;]

Aya wasn't as brutal as Ken had been, he just nudged the boy's foot and let him go before he lost his balance fully.
"Not a bright idea when the opponent is as fast as I am," he said quietly, while rubbing the spot where Ken had kicked him.

"But hopefully, that can change." He jumped back some.

Aya lowered his stance a little, turning his side towards Ken and making himself as slim as possible as a target. For his age Ken had quite remarkable skills. When Aya had been that young, he had been stealing his sisters barbie dolls and secretly digging his nose when his mom was not looking. For a kid to be as serious and determined, there had to be a good reason.
"Come then," he said quietly, shifting his weight to defense again.

He kicked the pointy end of the spear away, dancing to the side.
Correcting his stance yet again, he murmured, "Again." A bit softer than he would have liked.

Aya made sure not to hurt the boy, but wouldn't give him points for free either. What would be the point of sparring if neither of them learned anything from it, right?

Not so useless all the time. And they'd probably end up being more useful for Ken than they had been for Aya.

"I guess I need to learn this too." He said with a frustrated smile on his face.

"You won't go bored," Aya said, tone of voice indicating slight amusement.

"Go for it."
