Summary: Luna urges all of the villagers to join her in welcoming the arrival of Spring by taking part in a special celebration.
Rating: G for good times (let me know if I need to change it)

[Luna stands in the center of the square, her mane and tail flowing behind her. Yes, she is a pony. Yes, she is sort of purpley-blue and kind of sparkley. Yes, she is wearing a black crown on her head and "shoes" on her hooves. And also a multi-colored tan, blue, and green vest which clashes with her complexion horribly. After a while, she nods and clears her throat, raising her right hoof in salute.]

[If anyone thinks they're going to get out of a traditional royal speech, then they are sadly mistaken. In fact, some people who didn't show up for the event might even be able to hear her booming voice.]

Greetings fair villagers!! We are Princess Luna, and we would like to thank each of you for attending the First Annual Luceti Winter Wrap Up Celebration! It is a great honor for us to be able to share a small piece of Equestrian culture with all and everycreature!

[She rears up, front hooves pointed towards the sky. Dramatic much?]

Now!! Without further ado, let us join together to take part in this glorious event! Let Winter Wrap Up begin!

[Luna lowers herself back onto all four legs and adds a moment later, in a much softer voice:] ...Oh. And, if thou hast any questions, thou art welcome to ask us.

[Sonic doesn't give the smug grin the satisfaction of feeling outdone. Because he doesn't feel outdone. He can't fly, after all. But if he was Super Sonic, he could teach her a few things about fancy flying.]

Not bad. Though I think you really needed to do a barrel roll through the clouds while you were at it. Would've sold the whole thing.

[Now who's smug?]

Barrel rolls, huh? That's almost too easy.

[See, now she has to settle for more than just barrel rolls. So, she rears back and rockets towards another patch of clouds, spinning like a drill with her hooves held out front. She 'drills' straight through two of the clouds, loops around two more, and creates another whirlwind. When that's done, she zips from cloud to cloud, kicking a whole bunch out.

Aaaand then she lands.]

And how's that?

[Sonic smiles while watching her handiwork. She can definitely clean out clouds like a pro, but he's not about to admit that.]

Showy. But not bad for your second run at it.

[He's teasing, and he means it good-naturedly. The grin on his face definitely gives that much away.]

This village really needs a half pipe so I can get some serious air and actually give you some good competition.

What, you can't improvise?

[She's just teasing, of course. A half pipe would be cool. Definitely a good way to catch some air on something like a board or skates, after all.]

Wonder how hard it'd be to build one...

I could improvise, but I don't think the village would be very happy if I borrowed all of their doors.

[He gives a short laugh at the idea and hopes Dash will be amused by the mental image at least.]

Well, probably pretty hard without breaking something down or cutting down trees. And I don't really want to do either of those things for just that. We'll just have to find another way to settle it!

Yeah, I've got a hunch that wolf god would be pretty ticked if we started taking down trees.

[She does guard the forest, after all! Hmm... there has to be some other option.]

I mean, I guess we could use the battle dome, but that's all simulated.

Wolf god? Didn't even think about that. I just don't like messing with nature that much. A bigger ramp's just not worth that.

[He understands sometimes it's a necessity in modern living, but Sonic's definitely one who believes in green policies, replanting cut down trees, reducing pollution, all of that.]

Yeah, that's not as good. I mean, it's pretty realistic, but nothing beats the sensation of real wind blowing through your hair.

Seriously! And flying through a crazy simulation might be pretty cool, but I'd rather take on real thrills.

[Which is why she wishes that barrier wasn't in the way, darn it.]
