What: Exploring the tunnels
When: Friday, March 9th
Where: The tunnels!
Summary: The Shinda Sekai Sensen is looking for a place to potentially stick their headquarters (even though they haven't... actually come to an agreement with anyone to build it yet). The SSS members and possible future members are gathering to scout out the best spot! Plus, it gives everyone a chance to meet each other.
Rating: PG-13. Because some of the people involved may have naughty language and/or violent tendencies.
[ The entrance of the tunnels. Yuri stood there, arms crossed, waiting for everyone else to get there. She made sure she was the first one there. Anyone who doesn't get there by the time the sun sets probably will have to brave the tunnels alone to catch up, since Yuri's pretty impatient. Why at sunset? It was a good time and a lot less difficult to lose track of than an actual time frame. Everyone saw the sunset here at the same time.

That, and mornings were never a good time for missions.

Regardless, the second the sun set, Yuri uncrossed her arms, then faced the tunnel entrance, beaming with confidence. ]

We'll be diving into the tunnels and going as deep as we possibly can in order to find the best location for the Shinda Sekai Sensen II's headquarters.

[Naoi isn't fashionably late nor is he right on time. He's just in the middle. This whole mission thing still isn't a top priority with him but because he gets a say in where the HQ will be at, there's no way he isn't going.

So once he gets there he just walks up beside Yuri and stands there, arms shoved in his coat pockets] You do realize how awful you are at coming up with mission names, correct?

Isn't that Otonashi's job to imagine weird things whenever the mission names are stated?

"Tunnel Exploration" is a simple enough title, isn't it?

Nowhere near creative enough!

Why is being creative for something like that necessary?

Well if the enemy learns the name of our mission beforehand, then what happens if suddenly they're like "Oh they're on Mission Go Into the Enemy's Secret Base and Steal all of the Whatever."

What enemy, exactly? The only people we're facing are the Malnosso and I don't think they give a rats ass about our missions.

Not yet they don't, we having done anything of impact yet.

If they knew we'd be a threat in the future, I'm sure they would've taken care of us by now.

[magentarific]

They obviously don't think much of us yet, so we're going to have to change that.

So we want to get on the Malnosso's bad side?

[magentarific]

We wouldn't really be doing a good job rebelling if they liked us.

You can't be in one place without rebelling at least once, can you?

No. You don't have to leave once we find a way out, you know. It's not like I'm going to make you go back to being dead if you want to be here.

I'm not sure which place is better at this point. Here, or purgatory.

You don't get to go back there do you? I thought you disappeared. You'd just go straight to your next life if you went back right?

Probably. I was just saying that being dead here and there isn't too different. Both places are shitholes.

I'd rather be dead there, for convenience of not having to worry about fatal wounds and not getting experimented on.

And here I thought you'd prefer feeling more 'alive'.

If I'm dead either way then I'd rather be somewhere I can do something.
