Rating: G
Ken fingered what looked like some pale yellow curtains. "These are a nice color, Bunny." he said to his room mate, trying to figure out what would be best to make everything look welcoming. Even though his own room was dark at home, he didn't want people to think anything awkward about him. Besides, he was supposed to start trying to act like a child, which he thought he was doing quite well at.

"I wish I could bring good luck, maybe--" She trails off, shaking her head slightly as a way of casting off bad thoughts. They seemed to be haunting her.

"Yo-You can cook!?" Her mouth hung open slightly in shock, and her eyes bugged a little. She could hardly believe it. A kid, A KID, could cook. Boy did she feel stupid. "Amazing! I wish I could, and I'd try, but it'd probably kill us!"

[ooc: Sorry it took so long! I got on for an hour yesterday, but school is starting to kill me! DX]

"Did you..?" She gnawed her bottom lip, unsure of how to word her sentence. She didn't want to pry, truly, but she was curious. It would explain why he acted the way he did. So strong.

She smiled softly and kneeled down infront of him. She tilted her head to the side and whispered,"Thanks, Ken. I'd love it if you taught me. Don't want you to have to cook for me all the time!"

She gently messes up his hair. "You know, Your so much more mature than Shingo. He always laughed when I said I couldn't cook!"

Usagi shakes her head. "It's nothing important, Ken." She knew she shouldn't pry, not now, at least. She may not be the brightest crayon in the box, but she knew when she should or shouldn't do something. Maybe she'd ask him later.

She laughs as she stands back up, brushing imaginary wrinkles from her clothing. This kid really was nothing like Shingo. Don't get her wrong, Shingo was a nice kid and she loved her brother, but this kid was amazing. Nice, can cook. He would make some girl very happy in the future!

"Just because you enjoy it, doesn't mean you should do it all the time. Eventually you stop enjoying it." She knew that from experience. She couldn't remember for sure which manga it was, but she had read it so many times she didn't like it anymore. That was similar, right? "And yes, Shingo's my younger brat of a brother! He's such a rotten kid!"

"Do you have any siblings?"

Usagi watched him wander over to the dishes and smiled softly. She doubted this kid would ever stop amazing her. Not only was he polite, but smart and mature. She figured that this must be how Ami was when she was a child. How cute!

"I've never actually heard of the Wild Duck Burger." She whispers as she walks over to Ken. She glances at the dishes with mild disinterest.

"Friends are a lot like siblings." The blonde starts out, picking up a glass plate and examining it. There were cute green swirls around the edge. Maybe. She places it back down before glancing at Ken. " Sometimes you get mad at each other, and don't understand one another, but they're always there for you when you need them."

"I'll have to look up the place when I get back to Japan." She puffs out, picking up another plate. It was similar to the other one except instead of green swirls there were yellow. "Do we want a color scheme in our rooms?"

She knew, that whenever she got back to Japan, that her friends wouldn't be there waiting. It would be impossible. Death was permanent in her own world. " Always cherish the people close to you, Ken. You never know when they'll be gone."

"Me either. I alway just picked up things that had bunnies or moons on them." She scratches the back of her head after she places the other plate down, glancing over at the one he held. Who could've thought that decorating could be so hard?

Usagi frowns as she listens to him. She knew it wasn't odd for a child to lose a parent, but to move into a high school dorm at such a young age? She felt her heart ache slightly. It was good to hear he made many friends, but she wondered if he was forced to grow up at such a young age. To act like an adult, to play a role that simply wasn't suited for him.

"What's S.E.E.S?" That was something she'd never heard of before, and she'd heard of a lot of things in her short amount of time on Earth. She'd even heard of things from when she was Princess Serenity, but S.E.E.S. was not one of them.

Usagi hums in agreement, patting at her pink curtains in delight. She couldn't wait till they got back home to put everything up. She was sure that whatever they picked out would look wonderful.

"Dark Hour?" She pauses her pursuit of decorations. So, He had to fight, too. Why couldn't everyone just live a happy normal life? Was it so hard to let children live in peace? The young teen frowned, pulling the items she held in her hands closer to her chest. It just didn't seem right. " I've never heard of that, either."

It was strange, now that Usagi thought about it, but their Japan's sounded nothing a like. She had never heard of the Dark Hour and she was sure Luna would have spoken up if something like that was going on. Something was fishy.
