Summary: Something about the event really hit home. It's time to talk about it.

[Winry couldn't tell if she enjoyed that little time of thinking she lived in Sokka's world or not. In some ways she really enjoyed the experience, and felt closer to one of her best friends. In other ways it only cemented some ideas that had been clawing at the back of her mind. She needed to deal with them. Doubt, uncertainty, and fear kept her from doing so before. However she cannot put it off any longer. She wants to make a family. She wants to marry and have children, and she wants it soon. However Haruhi isn't nearly ready for that. She can tell. The air between them lately hasn't been the same, either, so perhaps it really is time. And as they walk back from a night date at Cloud Nine the two share an umbrella.
Winry thinks about how her shoes are lightly soaked as her conversation with Haruhi finds a lull. Now's her chance. She speaks up.]

Hey, Haruhi? Can I ask you something?

I'm- I'm just saying that no matter how much you accuse me of wanting it, I don't want to forget you.

...You're hurting me. Leaving me high and dry. Whatever your reasons and dreams, can you acknowledge that?

[installing]

[Right. Of course she's hurting Haruhi. She knows that, but Winry feels this is the best choice. For the both of them. Hurt is unavoidable, and she's sorry for that, but with all her heart she hopes that hurt will dull and fade over time.]

Yes.

[godbent]

[...At least she's not denying it. Haruhi relents a bit, frowning deeply, but then goes to sit next to her girl]

I wish there was a way I could make this not so hard on you. It must be-

[It hurts Winry too, but she has something- a goal- to look forward to. Haruhi... she doesn't.]

[godbent]

Don't tell me how it must be for me. You have no idea.

[installing]

[Winry says nothing, but her expression isn't hurt or amused. She doesn't have any idea, however she doesn't feel she needs to be criticized for trying to sympathize either.]

[godbent]

[As for Haruhi, she curls her legs up onto he bench, and then curls herself into a little ball, folding her arms around her legs and her head into her knees. As if sympathy will change anything]

[installing]

[Winry simply lets her posture drop. After being snapped at she's not sure how well a hug will be received. Though, after a few minutes, she can't help it. She tries to wrap her arms around her ex-girlfriend.]

[godbent]

[Haruhi's not about to refuse that. But she's been to mean the rest of this (even if she's not wrong) she doesn't dare speak or look up]

[installing]

[Winry rests her head on Haruhi. She doesn't say anything, afraid that she'll just be yelled at if she does.]

I just want to make sure you know.

[...Ugh. She finally leans into Winry]

[installing]

[Good. The hug becomes a little more relaxed, even if they're both still a little damp and cold.]

[godbent]

...I'm naming your daughter "Miho," just so you know. Your son'll be... Yuuta, maybe?

[...Yes, she is still there]

Do they mean anything?

[godbent]

Of course they do. The kanji for Yuuta... well there's actually a few I could pick. "Brave," "Gentle," "Superior..." There's probably a few more I'm not thinking of now. As for Miho, there's a few kanji I can pick there, but the meaning I'd go with it... Uh. How do I put it- "future step" more or less.

[installing]

"Future step," huh? I like it.

[godbent]

Good! Because that... that's her name.

[...pregnant. Knocked up. the little urchin will probably have Ed's eyes too. She recoils into herself, still leaned up against Winry, feeling physically sick]

I'm sure she'll like it too.

[godbent]

[She just makes a faint noise of agreement for that]

[Winry shuts up again and lets the silence (aside from the sound of falling rain) take over.]
