Who: Donatello, Robert Hastings, and Mia
What: A visit to the clinic.
When: Saturday morning.
Where: ... The clinic. The one in the Battle Dome.
Summary: Don goes to see a doctor, to find out whether his death loss has a name.
Rating: P for Professional
By now, Don has learned some things about his death loss. Words are hard to remember, in any form or language. He has no trouble understanding other people, but he can't speak or read easily. Some words won't come at all, while others pop up unwanted.
He remembers that other people's death losses are often real, if unusual, disorders, and he wonders if his is too. Thus, in the name of scientific curiosity, he laboriously conveys his thought to Robert, and enlists the man as moral support for a visit to the clinic.
Which is where they are now, waiting quietly for a doctor or healer to be ready to see them.
((Having internet problems but will hopefully be able to tag this.))

"Hello." Familiar with who Robert and Donatello are but not friendly enough with either to drop her polite mannerisms, she sticks to looking from one to the other a few times. Once unable to work out exactly what's wrong on sight - and she likes that, nobody's bleeding all over the floor - she offers an equally polite smile.
"Are you here to see someone specific?" There's a chance they're visitors, waiting for permission; there's a better chance they want a specific doctor or healer that they know.

"My name is Donatello."
He holds out a bent index card, on which a few lines are printed in a precise handwriting:
I'm having difficulty talking right now because of a death loss.
I'm also having trouble with my reading and writing.
I can understand everything you say.
Please be patient with me.
Don watches Mia with a questioning look. Can you help?
