Yes, it is! I've finally found the tea shop!

I know a little. I met an...Earthbender named Toph the other day. Is she your friend?

[Toph had made quite the impression, really.]

[Pepper is not having a good week, although by the third day, she's at least used to going around in a towel. So when she shows up in someone else's place, yet again, she just quietly sighs. She doesn't see anyone yet, so she'll just call out to try and spare them the shock.]

Hello? I'm sorry to just show up in your home, but I really can't help it. I wish I could, believe me.

I wouldn't mind it so much if it wasn't an avalanche of weirdness. Constantly adjusting to -everything- is going to be a headache. But...we'll get through it. We always do.

[She tries to smile encouragingly, for all that she's not thrilled with it either.]

[Pepper's already seen the damage that Wolverine inflicted on one house. But it's another thing entirely to suddenly wind up in the same room with him when he's just starting to claw his way through. Pepper can't quite keep herself from letting out a startled yell when she turns around to see him going at it.

At least she's got a good grip on the towel she's stuck in?]

[From out of another room, a female voice calls out]

Thats alright, its been going on all week. Are you decent?

[Oh. A voice she knows.] Sue? It's Pepper.

I'm--[Pepper looks down at herself.]--technically covered. I've got a towel.

Alright, put this on. I'm in the living room when you're dressed.

[A translucent hand floats into the room, carrying a bathrobe]

I'll watch out for Noah when he can move on his own.

[Pepper takes the robe and slips it on, but she's not entirely optimistic.]

It may not matter. I've been ending up in random places almost every time I go through a doorway, and the towel is the only thing that stays with me.

[Just in case. But this time, at least, it seems the exception comes into play, and Pepper is openly relieved when she actually makes it into Sue's living room.]

Oh thank goodness.

Oh man, I never cared about being that tall before, but this - this is ridiculous!

[Sue's sitting on the couch, absently reading a book, but she looks up when Pepper walks in. Her arm is still bandaged, but its not in a sling anymore, thanks to one of the mystical healers. Not much to say about the living room. Its pretty sparse, but there are X-shaped scratches in the wall near the door.]

I understand. Steve's had the same problem, he's appeared in my kitchen every morning so far.

[Katara answers by coughing as she stumbles - all smudged up - out from the fireplace.

Bleck, soot.]

[Pepper glances around, taking note of the living room, and of Sue herself. The bandage isn't so much a surprise to her, since Tony has told her about what happened--but it's definitely not something she's glad to see.

Easier things first.] At least he's gotten some consistency, then. [And Pepper will nod toward the scratches.] Let me guess. Logan's been here too?

[This is, by now, her fifth or sixth attempt to get somewhere. Her hair is still all loose from sleep and Katara's officially disgruntled.]

Gee, thanks for the tip.

[She wouldn't have figured out where they were otherwise, clearly, as she moves to sit beside her brother on the stairs and join him in a well-earned not!pout.]

[Wait, wait. That's...Katara. Nephry steps closer to offer her a hand.]

You're not hurt, I hope. [Dressed in...er, not really dressed and covered in soot is bad enough!]

Yes, at least he has that much. Its nice, he's good company.

Yes, he has. X marks the spot, right? Though he can be friendly when you get him talking, and not clawing.

[So... as crazy as things have been in Luceti the last day or so, you still have to try and have a normal life, right? And what better way to avoid the chaos than to stay inside and enjoy a loved one's company?

Or at least, that was the idea Billy and Teddy had had, when they'd decided that maybe today was the day to... well. Go all the way. The door is locked (or so they think), the curtains drawn (with pegs and pins, even) and they're already down to their boxers, making out and happily prepared to ignore the stupidity of the world around them for a while.

And then Pepper walks through the door in a towel.

Well, so much for that, is Billy's second thought, staring wide-eyed at the new arrival. His first was of course a lip-muffled shriek that is probably as comical as it is embarrassing as he tries to duck behind Teddy.]

Now...we should get moving again...

[He glances away again--he'd had issues about being healed by Luceti magic. Let alone learn it.]

[A year spent around it, and he's still not found of it. Non-Luceti magic was fine--it was the Filial magic he didn't want part of. Too closely tied to the Malnosso in his mind and what this place did to people.]

[Teddy doesn't even notice, still caught up in the heat and the nerves and just Billy, until he notices his boyfriend freeze, and looking at him makes him see the wide-eyed face. It's when he makes that garbled shriek that Teddy looks behind him, and he jumps and whirls around fully, effectively hiding Billy behind his back.

... Well at least his boxers are getting much more comfortable now.]

P-Pepper!!
