Summary: Seto wakes up and he can see for the first time in months. Guess who's happy?
Rating: PG because really. this is Seto we're talking about here
[For the past week, the world has been completely dark for Seto. No shadows, no colors, nothing. It's been darker than his own world. He had been brought to the Malnosso so they could help him see again but it only seems like they made things worse. Was it wrong for Seto to trust them?
No he... he still has to trust them. They did say that there would be some side effects for a few days. So maybe that's what this is. At least he can hope..
Seto opens his eyes, now realizing by the heaviness of his body that he had unintentionally fallen asleep, and sits up, rubbing his head. Feeling something nestled in his hair, he grabs it and pulls until he's holding it in front of him. It's the bandages the Malnosso put around his eyes.
...Wait.
He blinks and holds it up. He can see it. Dropping the material, he holds both of his hands up and stares. He can see his hands. Looking around the room.
He. can. see.
His heart starts racing and he smiles brightly, swinging his legs off the side of the bed and runs out into the living room.]

[Firo stops as well, biting his lip as he watches Seto shield his eyes. He hadn't even considered that the light outside would hurt Seto, but now it seems so obvious that he wants to kick himself.]
It's... sorta nice, isn't it?
[He sounds hopeful and a bit apprehensive as he awaits the answer.]

[He laughs and ruffles Seto's hair.]
Maybe we should go get you some sunglasses before we go anywhere else.

[He hesitates a moment, wondering if it's okay to ask his question.]
So... what's it like?

He finally moves his eyes away from Firo and looks out into the world that's straight ahead of him.
To be honest, it's been so long since Seto was last able to see the world that it feels like he's forgotten what it even looked like. Looking at the world from behind a constant heavy fog fogged his memory along with his vision. And now that it's lifted... it feels like he's looking at it for the first time again.
The leaves in the trees and the grass are bright green, filled with life, the sky is a beautiful blue with white puffy clouds that almost look like they're glowing from reflecting the sun's light. He turns his head to look at the people walking down the sidewalks, not blurs and blobs of darkness, but people that he can actually see and make out what they look like.
So really, there's one word that sums this up nicely:]
Beautiful.

Seto's answer immediately makes him smile. He should have known.]

Without him even realizing it, tears begin well up in his eyes and quickly start spill down his cheeks. He tries to wipe them away but the more he tries, the harder he cries and sobs into his hands.

[Firo's smile fades when Seto starts crying. Was it the question he asked? Is he hurt?
He grabs Seto's shoulders, trying to look at his face.]
Seto, what's wrong? Are you okay?

[Firo laughs, shaking his head; he's just thankful nothing's wrong. He leans down to hug Seto, ruffling his hair with one hand as he does so.]

[They seem so long ago, which only makes Firo feel worse for Seto missing all that.]

To be honest... I don't know for sure. It's been a while since I could last see the village so I don't remember things looking differently than they do now.

Well, nothin' drastic's changed, I think, so we don't gotta worry about you gettin' lost if you go runnin' off somewhere.
[But just because Seto can see now doesn't mean Firo won't be watching him like a hawk. He' convinced that if they don't want to go through this again, Seto needs to be well looked after.]
