Who: Brave Vesperia members and any friends they would have invited (although, just about anyone could sneak into this and probably not be noticed)
What: Beach party!
When: Afternoon of August 23rd.
Where: A remote space station The beach |:
Summary: BV takes a small vacation from work and has a beach party to relax and take advantage of the current heatwave.
Rating: Gonna slap a PG-13 on here and hope it doesn't go beyond that.

So, after another long day of building, Sokka had approached Yuri and gave him this beach party idea. Yuri was at that point so worn out he just lazily agreed to it and wandered on home. Thankfully for the rest of the guild, instead of later deciding it was stupid and retracting his yes, he sent out the message that they were going to the beach to take a break from everything, and to bring food and friends with them if they felt like it.

Better yet, this particular day happens to be during a heatwave. Even more reason to take a break from building!

Huh ... I see. I don't think there's anyone else in the guild that has that kind of skill, so it should be of use. We get a lot of particular requests with our buildings sometimes, and decorative stuff of any kind hasn't really been anyone's forte so far.

Hopefully it'll be something I can do then.

What other jobs does the guild do?

Honestly, we'll do just about anything we're called on to do, so long as it isn't for any sort of hurtful or negative cause. Anything from backing up the Blue Rogues to helping someone find some important item they lost somewhere. There's a chance we'll be involved with the old training school here soon, too.

... So basically, it's as varied as it gets.

Well that...is interesting. I wasn't aware they did that much. I knew about building, and I know they've done some fighting too, but that's about it...

I don't think a lot people realize how much we're available for. [a shrug] I guess they just see us building so much and figure that's what we're here to do. Not like I can really blame them for assuming that, though. It wouldn't be the first time the guild's gone through that.

I know if it wasn't for certain people mentioning you, I'd never have even known the guild existed.

We've advertised a bunch of times in the past, believe it or not. I think we're mentioned in that guide thing, too, but I doubt people actually read anything aside from the important stuff.

[a quick pause, then--]

I guess we could try advertising again, though. It's been a while.

I'd be happy to help with that. I can make posters and things, if you want.

Alright. I...think I'm going to head home, though. I'm not really dressed for parties, and my housemate just returned from a kidnapping. I should take care of Ami-chan.
