Who: Brave Vesperia members and any friends they would have invited (although, just about anyone could sneak into this and probably not be noticed)
What: Beach party!
When: Afternoon of August 23rd.
Where: A remote space station The beach |:
Summary: BV takes a small vacation from work and has a beach party to relax and take advantage of the current heatwave.
Rating: Gonna slap a PG-13 on here and hope it doesn't go beyond that.

So, after another long day of building, Sokka had approached Yuri and gave him this beach party idea. Yuri was at that point so worn out he just lazily agreed to it and wandered on home. Thankfully for the rest of the guild, instead of later deciding it was stupid and retracting his yes, he sent out the message that they were going to the beach to take a break from everything, and to bring food and friends with them if they felt like it.

Better yet, this particular day happens to be during a heatwave. Even more reason to take a break from building!

What is a Brave-Vesperia? [So many things to learn.]

[Estelle smiles at this question and tilts her gaze towards the sky, even though it's sunny out and they're not back home. After a moment though she closes her eyes as she speaks.]

In our world, Terca Lumireis, Brave Vesperia is the brightest star in the night sky. There is a story about a time when our world was plunged into ruin by a great cataclysm. It was then that a pair of siblings appeared, Brave Vesperia and the Child of the Full Moon. They fought the calamity and saved the world. While his sister remained, Brave Vesperia then ascended into the skies to watch over the world. It was after this star that the guild was named. A guild that is devoted to helping others, by assuring justice and punishing the unjust.

[Estelle then opened her eyes again and looked over at Ran Fan to see if she understood.]

[As Estelle spoke, Ran Fan sat down. She listened to everything Estelle said with great interest. The story was really interesting actually. And when Estelle looked over at her, the other girl would be able to tell that Ran Fan was really interested in this story.]

Is that all?

[Estelle blinks at Ran Fan, surprised, but pleasantly so.]

You... want to hear more?

Yes. Is that okay? [Because Ran Fan doesn't want to pry.]

Of course!

[She then pauses to think, and then begins her tale. Telling about the Children of the Full Moon, the Entelexeia and the story of her journey with Yuri and the others. All in a fairy tale sort of style without any actual names attached. It of course ends with a valiant black knight who saves the princess from peril.]

[And, of course, Ran Fan is amazed.]

[Estelle smiles happily, glad that Ran Fan seemed to enjoy her story. Perhaps storytelling could become a thing.]

Thank you, I think so too.

[She turns a fond gaze in Yuri's direction... which falters slightly when she's visually reminded of his attire. Oh Yuri, did you really have to wear that? Estelle instead looks back to Ran Fan.]

[Ran Fan notices the gaze, but really doesn't get it herself, so he doesn't mention it.]

Oh! A few. Most are stories my grandfather told me while growing up.
