Summary: The turtles go camping and drag a reluctant scientist with them. Plus telling about lives and other shenanigans.
Rating: Uh, PG to possibly R? The TMNT verse is pretty rough.


It had taken quite a bit of convincing, and a lot of walking, they were at the campsite. Even Robert made it, helped along by use of the side-car bicycle that Don had. Carbon was left at home with plenty of food and water. They'd brought with them supplies they could carry, that they'd need. Including the tent and sleeping bags they'd be sleeping and staying in.

There's always a compromise, though.

"Well... I suppose I could go longer without shaving, sometimes..." Awkward, almost shy smiling, now. "If... if you wanted..."

It's not a major thing anyway, and if Don wants to indulge in some stubble-related shenanigans it's not like Robert is going to stop him.

"For now, though, I... I ought to finish this. It will... look much more o-odd without being fully cleaned..."

Don pulls away and flashes a smile, then leaves Robert to his human hygiene rituals, heading down to the lake to kneel at the water's edge and wash the sleep from his face.
