[He accepted and wandered back to the table with a smile. Once settled, he pulled out his note book so they could more easily 'talk']

[He appreciatively took a sip of his hot chocolate and was impressed by the quality of it. Grune had somehow found some especially good chocolate, and it showed in the flavor. It wasn't too sweet, which made it perfect to Lupin.

He cast her a look over the rim of his mug, eyebrows lifted in question. Can you explain?]

Well, sometimes people think they do different jobs. [Like that time Fenimore had a gun.] They remember things a little differently, but they still remember who they are. And they remember some of their friends. Sometimes, they remember all of them.

[He nodded, and made a note to add that to the data he was collecting later. Even if the note card told him not to believe what people said, a part of him inherently didn't trust that note card. Questioning everything felt like the proper approach.]
