What: Marco's surprise birthday party.
When: October 6th, in the afternoon.
Where: Community Housing 3, Room 40
Summary: It's Marco's birthday. Ace planned a party. Need I say more?
Rating: Uh, PG? Since there will be pirates here, I'm hoping not to go above PG-13. PLAY NICE, KIDS.
[Ace wasn't going to go overboard on the decorating. In fact, he had to leave a lot of it up to everyone else since his injuries prevent quite a bit of movement. But soon enough, there were a decent amount of streamers up, and a nice big banner that says "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARCO". He had to work extra hard to get the cake to look just right. The cake is surrounded by the presents, and there's a few separate tables for food and drinks. Fruit punch for everyone, and some alcohol for the adults and pirates.

Come on, people, this is a party. Let's live it up a little! And don't forget to ~~embarrass~~ congratulate the birthday pirate. Feel free to leave your own comment below, just for mingling, or just doing something silly, or giving Marco your present! Have at!]

Um... I don't think you told me very much about them. But they were all really big guys, weren't they?

Aye, exactly.

A good five times my height. And around Little Oars Jr. we were all tiny compared to him.

Wow... I'm surprised your world has people that big. Are they giants?

Nope. Giants in my world are about a hundred feet tall, not twenty-five.

Whoooooaaa... so how are they so big? Are they still human?

Giants are a different species, they're giants. They also live about three hundred years instead of 70 or so. [You know, on average. Dr. Kureha (human) is 141 but she's special.] Some of my brothers are still human though, but not all of us. Namur's a fishmen for example, but we're all sort of freaks and monsters in our own ways, eh? [Which he says with pride.]

And some of the giants get even bigger than that. Little Oars Jr. is... was three times bigger than most regular giants, and Sanjuan Wolf is as tall as a mountain. [Like. No. Literally. Take a look. The red circled person down below is one of the 100-feet-ish giants, and the little tiny dots at their feet are normal sized humans. Sanjuan Wolf is the one behind the mountain fort. That big. 2500 feet tall? One Piece sizes make brains hurt.]

Puu! I guess so~ Some people think I'm some sort of monster-creature when they first meet me.

Wooooow... everything must be really big in your world!

What, really? They're not scared of you, are they? [He has trouble imagining people being scared of Fattycakes, but then, he doesn't see super reasons to be scared of many things...]

[And there's a small laugh.] Not always. Some things are huge; krakens, mountains, giants, and some animals and birds are bigger than the Moby Dick, our ship.

But we have things so small you can't even see them too. And some people no taller than half of my height. And some islands are the size of 4 of these enclosures over again, and yet some aren't even as big as just the village. There's just a really wide variety depending where you go, eh?

Oh, no, people aren't really scared of me. They just get confused because they don't know what I am.

Hmmm... I'd like one of those tiny islands! It'd be perfect for a Puffski settlement. Puffski Island, for Puffskis only! Though it'd get kind of boring with no visitors...

Understood. But at least they usually wait to make sure you're friendly, right? The past refugees aside, that is. [Pats his head!]

[And chuckles softly.] An all puffski island, eh? Maybe one day you'll find a suitable place and settle down there. If you can brave out the storms and other monsters, I don't think anyone would mind.

Puu~ [Happy wiggle~] Yes, they do! Lots of people try to pick me up at first to see what'll happen. I just give them a happy puu buu in response!

Yeah... maybe, someday Puffskis will settle in your world! But... o-other monsters? That's no good!

So long as you don't mind it, eh?

Ah... aye... we have... [Rubs his chin.] Some pretty fierce wildlife in my world. Even a lot of the plants like to eat things. It's a dangerous place.

P-puuu, you've got man-eating plants?! Oh no! That is not puffy! Is not buu! I wonder if we'd be able to get some stuff to protect us...

It might be really difficult. Everything in my world tends to be.

Puuuuu... we might not settle in your world then. We like to settle in peaceful places. There was one exception, but the Puffskis who went there were changed by Mama so they could fit into that world.

Ah... understood. My world is definitely not peaceful. It's more at war than ever now, eh.

Puu, that's not good. Yeah, we generally don't go to places at war... in fact, if a huge war breaks out, some settlements just pack up and leave.

Then my world might be impossible for you guys right now. There isn't much peace to be had, and what little there is can be pretty tenuous at best.

Puu... I guess so. That's too bad...

Maybe someday in the future, eh?

Puu! That'd be the best! The thing is, though... I travel. I don't hang out in one world for too long. Well, I'd at least try to visit.

Don't worry about it too much then, eh? I guess if you signed on with a good crew you could sail and travel the world, but it's extremely dangerous.

Finding a good crew sounds like it'd be difficult... I don't want any mutinies happening while I'm around.
