Time to live it up in here!

Who: Anyone!
What: Marco's surprise birthday party.
When: October 6th, in the afternoon.
Where: Community Housing 3, Room 40
Summary: It's Marco's birthday. Ace planned a party. Need I say more?
Rating: Uh, PG? Since there will be pirates here, I'm hoping not to go above PG-13. PLAY NICE, KIDS.
[Ace wasn't going to go overboard on the decorating. In fact, he had to leave a lot of it up to everyone else since his injuries prevent quite a bit of movement. But soon enough, there were a decent amount of streamers up, and a nice big banner that says "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARCO". He had to work extra hard to get the cake to look just right. The cake is surrounded by the presents, and there's a few separate tables for food and drinks. Fruit punch for everyone, and some alcohol for the adults and pirates.

Come on, people, this is a party. Let's live it up a little! And don't forget to embarrass congratulate the birthday pirate. Feel free to leave your own comment below, just for mingling, or just doing something silly, or giving Marco your present! Have at!]

[Vivi nods.]

He is now, I think. But did you meet Tony-kun before he went home? He's a reindeer who ate a Human-Human Fruit, and he's my crew's doctor.

[breezing]

No, I never met him. [ The name doesn't sound familiar, either, actually. ] How many people from your crew aren't here?

That's a shame. I know you would've liked him. [No one can resist the cute that is Chopper.]

Well, besides Tony-kun, there's Usopp-san--he's the crew's sharpshooter. You'd really like him too, I think. He's a wonderful storyteller, among other things. [Maybe her smile turns just a touch wistful here, because she really misses Usopp a lot herself. Chopper had only gone home fairly recently, but she hasn't seen Usopp for over a year now.] He was here, but he went home a while ago.

And the last is Franky-san--he was here once too. He's a shipwright and carpenter, and he expanded the house we stay in now. It used to be a lot smaller. [And had a distinct lack of lawn-roof. Seriously, every house needs a lawn on the roof!]

[breezing]

[ Probably for the best; she would have wanted to hug him. Always.

Ikki listens to the list quietly, filing those names away for future reference. There's always people missing, in Luceti, and it's a wistful sort of thing. She's pretty certain Vivi is right, and that she would have liked the people who weren't here - she'd liked every pirate she'd met so far, and there didn't seem to be any reason to break that trend. ]

Maybe I'll get to meet them all sometime in the future!

[Such is your fate when you're an adorable fuzzy talking reindeer. He's probably used to it.]

[Vivi nods mildly; again, it's that double-edged sword of wanting to be with her friends, but not necessarily wanting them here.] It's certainly possible. They do seem to have a way of turning up.

Have you met all the others who're here? [Let's see...she's met Sanji for sure; Vivi remembers that. And she thinks it likely Ikki must have met Nami, considering she was at her birthday party. Luffy? She thinks she recalls Ikki mentioning him too. The others she's not so sure about. Welp, the ones who would stand out the most of the others would be...] Brook-san? Or Mr Bushido?

[breezing]

[ Brook and Bushido don't ring any bells, so Ikki shakes her head, giving Vivi a quizzical look.

She has managed to run across Zoro once, at the beach party for Katara, but that was a while ago and she'd mostly informed him that his hair was green (he was aware). ] No-oo. What are they like?

Ah, well...Brook-san is hard to miss. He's a tall skeleton with an afro. He might look a little frightening, but he's very nice. [And Ikki's young enough that she doesn't worry about him asking to see certain undergarments.] He's a musician.

And Mr. Bushido--oh, most people call him Zoro, actually. [Yes, because that's his actual name, Vivi.] He's a swordsman so you might notice him carrying three swords around, but it's probably easiest to recognize him by his hair. It's green.

[breezing]

A skeleton???? [ Vivi, sometimes your world is SO STRANGE. ] Oh!!!! I really like music! Does he know lots of songs from your world?

Zoro...? Oh! I think I met him at the beach party, although we didn't talk for long. He's the one who always gets lost, right?

[Vivi nods, laughing.] That's Mr Bushido all right. His sense of direction is terrible

And yes, Brook-san probably knows more songs than I've even heard. He writes his own as well, and he knows how to play quite a few instruments: violin, piano, guitar... [Come to think of it, Vivi's not even sure of everything he knows how to play, but she's sure there must be more.]

[breezing]

[ Ikki will someday know just how terrible, indeed. ]

So he's like a SUPER musician?

I suppose you could say that. Perhaps you can meet him sometime soon.

[breezing]

I hope so! I'm going to meet everyone someday!

[ yes this is an actual goal ]

Well, I can certainly introduce you. [That should help, right?]

[Vivi pauses, thinking.] Have you met Robin-san? She's...not around right now, but I think she'll be back soon. [Hopefully. Mallynaps are so unpredictable.]

[breezing]

That'd be great!

[ Ikki shakes her head at that. ] Mm, I've met you and Nami and Luffy and Sanji and Ace and Marco so far!
