Who: Steve, Bucky, Clint, Pepper, Tony, Loki, Adele, Obi-Wan, and Luke.
What: Steve gets infected and a group gatherings to detain him/figure out what to do with him.
When: Early morning on the 29th.
Where: Abandoned apartment in the Downtown Area of Vaskoth.
Summary: Steve gathers together some of his closest friends to deal with him after he's infected.
Rating: R to be on the safe side.
It was the longest night of Steve's life. After he was bitten he'd gone directly to the apartment where he and Bucky had made base and proceeded to contact his teammates and friends. There was still the possibility that that the virus wouldn't take at all thanks to the serum, but there was no guarantee. And he wanted everyone to be prepared just in case.
But it was late at night by the time he finally contacted everyone, so he called for everyone to meet at the apartment the next morning. With any luck, the serum would hold out at least that long. And it did.
The sun had only been up for a couple of hours when people started showing up. Steve could feel the virus twisting around in his gut. As embarrassed as he was to be seen this way, he knew it was the only way. He asked for detainment and Obi-Wan placed some kind of Force prison around him. He tested its strength and found it suitable. Maybe things wouldn't be so bad after all.

At least you're aware of your faults.
no subject
I think it no fault.
[He shrugs.]
I am certain your friends will thank you for the pleasure of having your blood on their hands.
[He has certainly had that dubious pleasure now. None of Steve's friends are people he cares to spare enough that he wishes to argue.
He turns to walk away.]</small.

But he can't shut out the little voice in the back of his mind, telling him that Loki is right. It's a lot to ask of any of his friends, whether or not he comes back to life. He's been to war and has seen the after effects people suffer from being forced to kill.
Steve watches Loki turn away and suddenly feels a burning anger in his gut. All of this is just so easy for him.]
None of this bothers you at all, does it? People are out there getting infected and killing and being killed. There's death all around us. But you don't care about any of that. You said you gave the other Loki a 'mercy killing'. But I think you enjoyed it. You feed on all the destruction and chaos.

Loki is suddenly back, right up against the prison, eyes blazing.]
You know nothing of what I think nor feel nor have done.
[And then he smiles.]
So righteous, Steve Rogers, pretending in one moment that you care so deeply, and in the next you throw the body of a dead child at me as if it's some sort of weapon. How heroic of you. Much more subtle than your shield.
I shall be certain you have the pleasure of seeing your own face, smeared with blood, as you chew up a bit of what was once someone's lung. How right you are. It's a unique sort of experience, one that everyone ought to enjoy.
no subject
No, you're right. That was wrong of me. I should have realized that you're too self-involved to have enjoyed that.
[His jaw clenches and his hands fist tightly at his sides.]
That's never going to happen.

"Loki, I'll need you to leave now. Both of you are not making my task any easier, nor particularly endearing yourself to me."

Mortals. Ugh.]
You know, I'm beginning to suspect you have a little box of 'snippy things to say to villains' from which you randomly draw slips of paper...
[He sighs.]
Yes Obi-wan. I'll stop tapping the glass on the fish bowl now.
[He gives Steve a poisonously sweet smile and walks away.]
