On the 29th, the Malnosso announce over the radios that the power cap will be lifted to a full 100%. Carol broadcasts a message.

On the 30th, the Malnosso declare Vaskoth completely lost. Those with radio access will discover that the enclosure is to be bombed.

On the 31st, survivors will have one last chance to evacuate or try to find the cure. 3PM is do or die.

[There are a lot of zombies around and, dear God but Temari is going to punch someone in the face for all this trouble. Telling her she can't bring her fan. Making her go through all the trouble of making a fan. Four days later, she's sitting pretty with a useless fan and relying on all those other weapons anyway, thanks to the power cap. She's ridiculously weary but too angry to sleep.

She hates those days. That thought makes her even angrier.

On top of all that, she's getting too goddamned tired to lip-read properly.

Which totally explains why she's out on some idiot mission with Shikamaru. Really. Maybe she can punch a zombie in the face. There's enough of them around.]

[endgames]

[He's just barely had enough sleep to be functioning again. He doesn't feel like he'll pass out and his hands aren't shaking anymore, so he might as well stay. But having heard news about the survivor... well, now would be a good time to start looking. Just need some supplies.

Which is why they're moving through these buildings here! Enclosed places. Not the smartest idea, but we are stealthy like ninja. He looks around the corner, then angles back in a crouch. He mouths words more than whispers them.]

Okay. My count is twelve that way, but once we pick up the stuff we can take the back way out. There's no one there.

[Okay, he's talking and it's probably important but all she can seem to concentrate on is how much she really wants to either sleep or punch something. She runs her hand over her cheek and looks at him with an expression that definitely gets her annoyance across.]

[He turns his attention on her, glancing over, with an assessing frown. Speaks slower.]

Sure you're up for this?

[dangerouswind]

[Wipe that frown off your face. She's fine.]

I can handle this. [Hey, she figured that one out. There's a step forward.]

[He nods, little hesitancy (he does trust her). So he just repeats what he said before. If she gets it this time, he'll start for sneaking down the left hall, to the room on the end.]

[Nice to know she's trusted. She does get it that time, nods once to let him know. She'll just be slinking along behind. She's exchanged her fan for a staff -- it works well enough. He'll have to excuse her if she's paying a little more attention to what might come up behind them than to where he's going.

He's watching that way. She'll watch their backs.]

[Once they're too the room, he pulls on her wrist once to make sure she follows. Inside... he gets to sorting. Food stuffs, water, etc. But mostly, he's not interested in these appliances. There's a toaster in here, and even a blender. Fancy break room.]

[She's following, without a word. She goes past him, to start opening cupboards lining the far wall to dig out supplies.

... Forgive her if she goes out of her way to give the blender a once-over. Could be useful, back home. Might need to get one.]

[Too bad he's gonna be dismantling this one for rigging to explode! On that note, he swipes the sink's dish soap. Could make the gasoline he plans to siphon thicker.

And finally, he found matches. He opens the lid and tosses both those things to store in the blender as well, if that gives her any clue to his intentions for it.]

[Give her a second. When she sees kitchen appliances, she usually thinks in terms of food, rather than explosives. When she does get it, she just looks at him.]

Did you want the toaster for anything?

Throw it in. I have plans for that one.

[Down the hall, the shuffling shifts.]

[dangerouswind]

[She blinks at him.] Seriously?

[endgames]

Yeah... [And he trails off, picking up faintly on the noise.]

[dangerouswind]

[Lalala, what noise?] It's a toaster, Shikamaru. Are you going to throw it at them?

[Yeah, that's definitely that sound of foot shuffles. He waves a hand, trying to get her attention.]

Temari - quiet.

[dangerouswind]

[Obviously, he's waving his hand because he doesn't want to answer her about the toaster.]

Why do you want it?

[endgames]

Temari. Zombies.

[dangerouswind]

[You make no sense.] I know that much. [Of course he wouldn't want the toaster for something like, oh, toast.]

[He slaps his forehead, fiercely whispering.]

No, Temari. There are zombies.

[She's tired and he's stating the obvious.
