Like Snickers
Who: Anyone from this list.
What: A meeting
When: November 15th, anytime between 6-10 PM
Where: The Rec Center
Summary: Several people have received simple, written invitations asking them to meet at the rec center for a proposal.
Rating: B for Business-Casual
[This is the log in which Shikamaru collects people and they get to talking about the task at hand for disseminating information, and possibly recruits them into the agency thereafter if they're still interested. People will likely be showing up at different times, so he speaks to everyone one-on-one instead of in a group.
The proposal will be offered to each character who shows up casually - no hard feelings whatever you decide to do - but with firmness. This is a group that will be dedicated to intelligence research and analysis, not information gathering. It's nothing flashy or exciting, but he expects discretion and it's a job that shouldn't be taken lightly. Those who accept the offer will be told things should be up and running withing two weeks.]
[ooc: because so many people ended up included, the way this organization will work needed to be re-tooled a little (hence why this is a day late). I've written up an in-depth look at how the agency will operate to clarify everything (please read it!), as well as created a new community (
luceti_analysts) that anyone is welcome to track/join.]

Ah yes. I saw some things, they seemed interesting.

[Coulson looks thoughtful. It is an unexpected but useful system. If troubling, if only for the psychological aspect of such actions.]
What sort of things have you learned from these missions that makes you call together such a diverse group of people, Shikamaru?

Have you heard of the new section of the tunnels that was discovered recently yet?
[There was an announcement on the locked comm, and they've been open for people to look at since, but Shikamaru's unsure how caught up he is since he's been gone.]

[Coulson shakes his head at Shikamaru's question.]
Afraid not. Settling in this time around, well. It wasn't as smooth as before. With everything I haven't been able to catch up as much as I wanted to.

That it was discovered, however, was thanks to information gathered on a mission. An MSF Specialist passed on how to find it to one mission-goer as a reward, and I was able to figure out the passcode to open it based on something a comrade and I had seen on the same mission.

[Coulson listens, intrigued.]
I see. Those missions seem to bring interesting information to light then? But if the people who learn such information do not share it then we are missing out on some things then.
[Coulson doesn't look around at all the people Shikamaru has gathered. He doesn't need to. Instead he gives the faintest of smiles.]
Perhaps I get why you gathered so many diverse people together. Are you hoping to distill information, Shikamaru?
