Happy Happy Turkey Day
Who: Marvel people plus friends. I'm not even attempting to make this list out.
What: Marvelsgiving!
When: November 22, 2012
Where: House 49
Summary: It's Thanksgiving. There's a meal and socializing. Also fun.
Rating: PG, PG-13 max? A kid got invited to this.
Considering how last minute all of this had been, Pepper was actually pretty satisfied with how things were turning out. Rogue had shown up early with helpers in tow, immediately setting to work in the kitchen. The house had been filled with delicious aromas shortly thereafter, and Pepper busied herself with the other details until guests started to arrive--at which point part of her job became keeping people out of the kitchen, per Rogue's orders.
The set up was straightforward: the dining room table was used to hold the assorted dishes, where people could fix themselves plates. A similar set up with drinks (although please, don't give alcohol to the children). Chairs set out for people to sit, since there were too many to even attempt a traditional sit down dinner. But that was fine by Pepper, who made her way through the group, making sure everyone was happy, or at least not destroying part of her house.
Better safe than sorry, with this crowd.
(ooc: post! mingle! include whatever dish your character brought for the potluck and wait for them to be judged. and as always, have fun.)

But this one? Well. He might just make an exception in this case.
What did he have against this kid again?
"I'll insist on it. I never knew such a beautiful thing was missing from my life until you said it."
no subject
"I agree with that," he answers, a small grin on his face now. Because, well, he did Tony a very big favor here and he has been really, really good lately. And wasn't there a little deal they struck earlier in that library?
"This reminds me of something," Loki says while mixing the two cerials carefully. "Because I have a really, really, really good memory I do remember our agreement in the library a couple of weeks earlier. And I have been exceptionally good..."
He nudges Tony playfully.
"...so I have to ask you to keep your end of the agreement as well, yes?"
no subject
"If I didn't know better, I'd think you thought I was Santa. Here - why don't you go ahead and tell me what you want for Christmas and I'll see what I can do."
no subject
"Please do not fret, Tony Stark, I mean no harm," he speaks calmly and shoves a spoonful of Thanksgiving cereal into his mouth and chews slowly. After he swallows it he smiles the most convincing innocent smile he is capable of.
"Important information. I prefer it to be wrapped up in colorful printed Christmas paper. I am sure you can brighten these dark, cold days with such a gift, yes?"
no subject
"You know Christmas is till a month away, right?"
no subject
"Not maybe, maybe does not suffice." Loki shakes his head while enjoying his cereal. "Then I shall make an appeal on your generous nature then and just expect you to keep your end of the deal, yes? I shall put my trust in you, and trust is very important."
He moves to grab the whipped cream and covers his entire bowl with that, brows furrowing in concentration.
"I am aware of that."

But where he starts might seem like a distraction technique, though it isn't. "What do you know about your older self's attempt to invade Manhattan?"
