For the most part, the fireworks are fairly ordinary aerial shells, his initial exploration of the simply chemistry and physics of it. There are a variety of types of aerial "flowers" and a wide range of colors. Toward the end of the display, things get a bit more whimsical and strange. One firework produces a form that looks rather like an anemone, tentacles waving. Another looks like a tame supernova.
