This post covers the first day, before the attack. Remember, characters here are not expecting an attack and are under the impression they will be going to Region 1 to fight. During this day, draftees will be restricted to T6 and T7 and not permitted access to other areas.

If it does, then it almost makes a certain sense... it would explain why it happens so much.

"I ate enough to satisfy my needs," said Konan. It was always wise to be cautious with how much one ate before entering enemy territory. Too little meant being weak, and too much meant moving slowly and being sluggish. It was a balance she'd learned over the years.

A ninja. We live in hidden villages and train to fight. Once we earn this, [He taps his forehead protector] we leave the Academy and are sent out on missions. For the sake of either protecting the village and surrounding country or earning money to sustain it.

Depends. If things get too hectic on the ground or I can't move about it fast enough I at least can go over top.

[He nods to her however.]

Mm, yeah I guess so. But, I'm not much for really long range.

For a breath she's reminded of that same, weightless void involved in Helios' teleportations. Were it not for Itachi's presence and the rather sturdy sensation of ground underfoot she might have gone off in another fit. But there's a sense of ground, of gravity, of stability, and that keeps her settled.

Over the years she's had quite a few individuals rifle around in her mind. Jedi, gods good and evil, the malnosso. And this is the first time it's at all seemed normal- as though she's not entirely out of control. That more than anything else eases her mind. The almost familiar field that makes her think of home also helps. "It's brighter than I thought it would be."

How do you accomplish such a task? Are they terribly stupid?

I would also say that where death isn't permanent, it's a bit... too permanent.

Banter. Banter and snark and black coffee and it's not tea with honey and Ben and solid ground underfoot- but it'll do. It's what she has and she has to make do or remain a useless mess. And she simply cannot abide the thought of being useless.

"Of your own accord. If you are dragged in banged up and bloody I'll spend more time yelling at you than I will treating you."

"And you're a gentleman since...?" When did it become easy, become comfortable to tease Loki. God of mischief. A dangerous and volatile god. She honestly couldn't remember and yet, somehow, this put her at ease just as well as anything else.

Loki nodded. "Wise," he commented. "But you seem quite familiar with this sort of action."

[She frowns a little, not liking that thought for all she suggested it.]

You need to work on getting more of yours removed. Maybe that would help, if so.

You went home? [Wait, he's not in clothes???? What??? Or is he? I don't even know. Oh well, he tilts his head to the side]

The guards behind Bil exchanged glances, but said nothing. They looked a bit somber.

Bil chewed on a fry thoughtfully before concluding: "Specialist Davis was relieved from his post after being found unfit for duty. I'm afraid he won't be of much use to you."

Oh, there are a multitude of factors. Perhaps this world has a stronger hold on you than we expected. Your recent encounter with the General may itself have something to do with it. It would require some thorough calculations before I could begin to guess why.

[He reminds her of the Colonel just then; it feels like there's something he isn't telling her.]

You're so mysterious, Professor! But fine. I'll just be attacking the cultists I see!

Are you sure you don't need to go look for the healers? I know there's a couple around.

[Yup. New feather pants. Not having had the opportunity to change, he has his regular clothes in hand, although they look like they've already been through a war zone. More telling than any of that with him shirtless, however, is the absence of the scars on his stomach.]

...Yeah. [A pause, because that's a harsh truth to be hit with. If he's here he's not there.] Same world, anyways.

No way! You're way too strong for that to happen! [And the thought of the Colonel dying is pretty scary, to be honest. He seems so untouchable.]

But anyway, even if you die, you'll still come back!
