This post covers the first day, before the attack. Remember, characters here are not expecting an attack and are under the impression they will be going to Region 1 to fight. During this day, draftees will be restricted to T6 and T7 and not permitted access to other areas.

Have you seen Shikamaru yet? [It occurs to him now that Masaomi is in a much more precarious position than Chouji, and he feels a little guilty for wasting time worrying about what he's missed in his friends' lives. At least Chouji never has to worry about Shikamaru forgetting him entirely. If Masaomi's found Shikamaru already, that would have meant at least a couple seconds of wondering.

Chouji is suddenly incredibly glad Shikamaru didn't forget.]

I was thinking they'd let us go home if the war ended. But, they must be awfully fond of experimenting on people. So, I dunno. But, maybe they will, they can't all be bad.
