What: Norma's 18th birthday party.
When: April 10th.
Where: Seventh Heaven restaurant.
Summary: Some time ago, Norma told Vivi about the rough date her birthday would fall under in Luceti. Today is that day, so Vivi decided to throw her a party!

[It's a party! Eat, enjoy, and have fun! The birthday girl will be all over the place talking to everyone and sampling just about everything. She's in better spirits than she has been in weeks, so definitely take advantage of that! Anyone she knows will be getting an invite once she learns of her kinda-sorta surprise party (she forgot about her birthday completely, derp), so come on down!

Just don't forget to bring a present~! ♥]

[This is so sudden. A birthday of a kind of sort of friend. Not a random stranger. While the draft did take his toll on him he decided that he needed to keep a public appearance. Force all those unpleasant feelings down for someone's happy day.

But, with the awkward between them, he's going to have to be quick. He has to be a ninja. So, he's ducking and diving under any table, behind any plant, so he can get his present on the table for Norma.

Which is a fancy, shmancy metal hair piece shaped like a lily. He made it himself.]

[The package from Vivi is small, wrapped in folded tissue paper. Upon opening it, Norma will find two metal hair sticks, each topped with a decorative curlicue that doubles as a bubble wand, and jeweled chain tassle.]

[It's a crudely wrapped present, but the contents should be more than enough.

Catnip!

...Of course, there's more than catnip in there. In there, is also a little Kaka kitten plush doll, not as crudely made as you'd expect from Tao (she got a little help).]

[Well, first off, Grune of course baked her biffle a huge double-layer cake with lots of icing. Because fuck yeah icing!

She also managed to find some books on Relares, but given but she knows absolutely nothing about the language, they're probably on the level of "A Beginner's Guide to Learning Relares," oops.

She did, however, find some cute hairclips and she borrowed some beads from Fenimore to make her a necklace, so yay?]

[Sadly Marco didn't have as much time as he would have liked, since goth!Marco had decided to "help" him by getting her a bunch of inapplicable things Marco would have to find a discreet way to get to Perona without the Ghost Princess finding out. Still, he gets her a blue vase with buttercups and even some buttercup hairclips. And also a charm bracelet and cookies. Because you can never go wrong with cookies. There may or may not also be a pirate hat in there. Not because he's trying to con her into turning into a pirate or anything, nope.]

[Ralph won't try too hard at this mingling business. He puts a small effort into finding some people he knows, but mostly he'll keep to himself and his food at his table. Now where'd that birthday girl get off to.]

[At his table, Ralph may or may not be hearing something under it. Something that sounds like...meowing?]

[Confused, Ralph soon peers under the table to investigate.]

Someone get her a cat...?

[Tao is on a crawling position on the ground, smiling back at Ralph with her Cheshire Cat smile and red eyes in the darkness before she waves a paw.]

[Ralph won't have to look far, Norma's busy talking a few other people around before she spots her largest friend. Beaming when she spots him - he's awfully hard to miss - Norma waves excitedly and heads right for him while nearly skipping. When she does get to him, Norma fling her arms around one of Ralph's enormous ones and laughs.]

Hey, Big Guy! Glad you could make it, too!

[He can't help but laugh along, and he raises his arm in a flexing pose, trying to carry Norma with it.]

Of course, I'm not that bad a guy. Happy birthday, Bubble-brains.

[It's not hard at all to pick her up, Norma's rather petite. She yelps a little in surprise when she's lifted off the ground, then just begins to laugh and swing her legs back and forth. Oh, jeez, way to make her feel puny, you big jerk! At least it's wicked fun, though. She can take a moment to appreciate still being a kid once in a while - it's fun!]

Thanks, for coming, too! Just make sure you don't eat everything in sight, okay?! Leave some for everyone!

[Vivi won't be too hard to find, as she's playing semi-hostess, greeting guests as they arrive and keeping an eye on the refreshments to keep everything topped off.]

[Hey, girlfriend, you're about to be party pounced. As in Norma's going to slide over and very possibly either try to scare you from behind or wrap an arm around your shoulders. Or a combination of the two! As grateful and happy Norma is for the party, and for Vivi throwing it in the first place, she wants the poor princess to relax herself and have fun. Norma should be the one greeting people.! It's her birthday, after all, so...it makes sense, doesn't it?]

Jeez, Princess, calm down for a few minutes, okay? You're gonna crash real hard if you don't take a breather.

[Preoccupied with tidying up a crooked streamer, Vivi remains blissfully unaware of Norma's sneak attack until it's too late. She gives a small shriek of surprise as Norma pounces her, though in a moment it turns to laughter.]

You startled me! [Yes, that was the point, Vivi.] Oh, don't worry, there's not all that much for me to do... [Though maybe Norma's right anyway. She probably doesn't need to be so diligent about everything.]

[Marco's pretty late, but at least he's back to his "normal" pineapple-y self when he shows up at the party. He's a little quieter than usual, but only compared to his usual flashy state. It seems that this time he doesn't want to draw any extra attention. This might just be because he's plotting the best way to give his baby sister a phoenix glomp when she least expects it however.]

[Well, late or not, the party's still going and Norma's wearing a few of her new hair accessories, though her beloved pompom is on her wrist. She's much too busy mingling and twirling around from table to table snacking on all the delicious foods and just being her usual, bright, bubbly self that she doesn't notice the late arrival just yet.

Nor does she suspect anything could possibly go wrong or scare her at this particular moment. >_>]
