[Raine is your average, mild-mannered woman going about her daily life. Find her all about the place during the day - either conveniently around town trying to not seem conspicuous as she particularly visits the library and item shop on multiple trips, leaving them with books and supplies; in school during school hours; at the flower shop when it's still just a flower shop, and so forth. She also will be in and out of the bar and tea shop if anyone needs a listening ear for their woes, or of course visit a friend at a household if it's needed.

She does have her own secrets of course; she is actually a witch. While it may be known that she works at the flower shop, when the Apothecary opens, she will be unrecognizable to anyone who may know her. The apothecary is open for requests for anything a young magical girl, evil villain, detective, or ordinary citizen who needs a little excitement might find themselves wanting... whether it works properly or not is another matter entirely.

Still, it's probably dangerous for an apparently ordinary young woman to be walking around at night. Especially in such a nefarious town...]

[Night... how about 2]

[During Raine's walk home that night, she may find a man in blue armor leaning against the fountain, his face visible but somehow not recognizable. Jade, or rather Abyssmal, looks up curiously to her as she walks.

Ah. Perhaps she could be the key to achieving his plans. So he pulled out a thin flute with possible magical properties and began to play, in order to draw her closer.]

[night 2]

[The sound of music at night is curious, of course, and though Raine should know better than to follow mysterious music, she can't help but be drawn to the curious sound, which brings her winding steps right to the fountain.]

... Hello?

[night 2]

Good evening. [He says with a slight smile as he lowers the flute. Good, she's now nearby. Now he just has to think over hot to go about this kidnapping.]

It's an unusual hour to be traveling alone, with the the number of suspicious types out there.

[night 2]

[She tilts her head, raising an eyebrow.] Oh, and is that including yourself?

[Night 1?]

[Oh it was good to have competent partners to form this little coven, so very, very good. Reliable, skilled women were so hard to find, both here and at home as she and Siuan had discovered but when they'd begun working with Raine things had perked up quite a bit. Potions and mischief were the order of the day, exactly as they'd been in their Novice days.

Nobody seemed to think it odd that three lovely women sequestered themselves in the flower shop for hours at a time and strange smells occasionally wafted in from the back room. But with everything else going strange, maybe it's time they sat down and actually worked on something to keep them all safe.

Stepping into the back, Moiraine doffs her hood and turns her blue cloak inside out, changing it to a more traditional black.]

Good eve, Raine. How are you tonight?

[Night 1!]

[A room normally unused save to store extra items that don't fit on the sales floor, the set up is actually quite perfect for setting up dried herbs, candles, and brewing area. Not to mention the shelves of a few questionable books found in the library.

It's still a little cluttered, but it's getting there. Raine is in her own dark cloak when Moirane approaches, though she smiles brightly at the presence of the other witch.]

Oh, Moiraine! I've been busy today, gathering more materials for us to make use of. [She gestures around to the new additions, the scented candles and books, and a half started drying line for the herbs.]

[Night 1!]

[Surveying the room, Moiraine's face breaks into an excited smile. It's perfect. So very well done. Oh, she's glad to have found a covenmate like you, Raine!]

It looks wonderful! And you even managed to gather a bit of forkroot so we can get started it seems. Oh, you really have been busy.

[Night 1!]

Indeed! I'm glad you approve. [She rubs her hands together.] I'm certain we all will be able to create many marvelous things together!

[Night 1!]

[Moiraine claps her hands together, shaking free a couple of pentagram laden bracelets]

Oh yes, I think so too. What did you have in mind for tonight?

[Night 1!]

[wise_maiden]

Well, barring we don't have any customers, we could put together a few brews or charms...

[Night 1!]

[agelesseyes]

Oh! Yes, I think that would be lovely. Perhaps...oh, I don't know, something to turn people into toads? Or is that a bit much?

[ El Guapo is following Raine as she walks around at night. He has a bandana drawn up to his mouth, of course, and he's waiting for the opportune moment to -

When he falls unceremoniously out of his hiding place. He quickly recovers though, jumping up and running up to try and stop her. ]

Stop, lady! I am here to kidnap you!

night... 4!

[wise_maiden]

[She really should think about leaving the shop earlier some days, but it can't be helped; the best potions need to wait for nightfall. Not to mention how busy the rest of the days usually end up being, juggling two jobs on top of this hobby -

Still, another kidnapping attempt? He doesn't seem too bright...]

... Here's some advice. [She does stop for a moment, just to allow him to get dramatically closer, and to make her statement seem all the more dramatic.] Most kidnappers don't announce their intents! [And then she starts to run, herself.

Of course that little head-start she allowed him might just backfire on her...]

[dragoneer]

[ His lack of two good legs isn't doing him any favors, and crutch-running doesn't get him very far, even with the headstart she gave him. Luckily, he brought his trusty lasso! Which he will attempt to catch her with now. ]

I like striking fear into the heart of my enemies before I attack!

[wise_maiden]

[The lasso misses the first time, but loops around her on the second attempt. Oh dear.]

Goodness! And you used to be such a nice boy! What would your mother think?

[dragoneer]

[ He's mid-maniacal laugh when he falls abruptly silent at the m-word. ]

D-don't you bring my mother into this!

[wise_maiden]

Do you think it's something I want to do? You're only doing all this to prove yourself, aren't you?

[dragoneer]

N-no! [ Clearly, she's hit a nerve. ] I do this because I love making people quake with fear!

Night 3!

[lostinmyway]

[No matter how she searches, Grune just can't find the mysterious solution to her identity. The doctors have tried everything, but her amnesia just isn't going away. Maybe, then, it's time to try a solution that's a little more...supernatural.

When Grune steps into the flower shop that night, it's with uncharacteristic apprehension. Normally, nothing bothers her, but you're supposed to be a little afraid when you consult a witch, so that's what she is. Apparently.

She looks left and right at the darkened shapes of the shop. Is the witch one of them? Oh my.]

Hello?

Night 3!

[wise_maiden]

[As it's night time, and the shop has turned toward it's darker purposes, the witch is calmly collecting a few clippings from some of the more unique plants in the shop when the sound of a customer catches her attention.

The figure keeps herself cloaked, but... is that Grune? Familiarity sets in; usually, the other woman helped take care of the shop, but she had gone mysteriously missing when the other witches had invited themselves in to turn it to an apothecary ...

Still, she couldn't risk giving away her identity.]

... Good evening. Have you come to us for help?

[lostinmyway]

[Grune may be acting strangely this week, even for her, but despite everything she's retained at least some of her unflappability. So while she takes in a slight breath at the sight of the robed figure...her reaction isn't all that dramatic.]

Yes, that's right. [She sighs.] I've lost my memory and no matter what the doctors try, it just won't come back. Is there anything you can do to help me?

[wise_maiden]

I admit that is an unusual request, but I can see if we have any potions that could help.

[Because she does want to help Grune, as long as the other woman remembering doesn't cause any problems for the shop and Raine's identity.]

Although I must warn you, they do come with side effects. Various side effects. They aren't long lasting or life threatening, so once it wears off you'll be perfectly fine.

It's all right if there are side effects. [She clasps her hands together.] I'd do anything to get my memory back.

[Well, no, she wouldn't, but that's the sort of thing you're supposed to say in these situations, right?]
