[Suckers! You've been conned. There's a new face in town. His name is Cortez. You might think he's that wimp, Kurt Wagner. Except he's a bit more muscular and rugged, along with a dark blue mustache. And somehow, his accent is more Spanish than German.

Cortez makes his way across Luceti, teleporting in and out and doing what he wants. He'll try to rip off people any way that he can and will also hit on any number of women for fun. He can't be stopped, or can he?

Or, on any of these days, you can find Kurt himself - anywhere in Luceti. Tied up in a closet or trunk? Perhaps in some small-scale death trap? There he is, bound by his evil twin Cortez, and desperate to clear his okay name! But does he have any dark secrets of his own...]

[She needs to find a test. A reliable one. Why were there no conventional tests in Luceti? How was she ever going to find out for sure? It is not as if she could confide in anyone else in the house - perhaps Logan, had the situation been different, but...!

So, Ororo is fretting once she makes her way to the item store (on foot, because would using her powers while possibly-pregnant do anything to the maybe-baby?) hoping vaguely Rogue wasn't around to ask incriminating questions. She doesn't expect to run into Kurt on the way in!]

... Ah. Kurt?

[Cortex takes a moment to flick some hair out of his eyes and leans against the nearest shelf.]

[Her patience is extremely short today, sorry not!Kurt. She crosses her arms, frowning.]

Kurt, I do not have time for your silly games.

Hey, Hey. [He tugged at his stache, a little offended.] First of all, it's Cortez. Don't be mixing me up with that square. And secondly? There's nothing silly about my games.

[... The accent throws her off. But she continues to frown anyway, stepping around him so she can continue looking for things.]

I am being serious, Kurt. Please, if you are not going to be helpful, I do not need you to bother me right now.

"Brother"? [She plants her hands on her hips, rolls her eyes.] I did not know Kurt had a twin brother. He might have informed us, or at the very least his own sister, if he did.
