[Kirk, do you not remember the simple fact, we cannot leave? Kankuro wonders if the other man has suffered a concussion or some other kind of traumatic brain injury before remembering the past few days weirdness.

No, no girlfriend. [Before here he was involved in a war. Romance doesn't bloom on the battlefield as easily as stories would have it.] The advice was fine, I just haven't met anyone interesting. [Smile and nod, smile and nod. Just play along.]
