Who: Chichiri (
celestialwater ), Zero (
crosstattoo ), and Ease/Tyki (
1and1isonehalf )
What: A showdown
When: A few days after Daisya's return home
Where: By Tyki's bridge
Summary: Zero has managed to gather enough information to strongly suspect that the hobo Ease is actually Tyki Mikk. Chichiri is coming along partially to help out and partially to make sure Zero doesn't end up hurt.
Rating: R (language, violence)
Chichiri had been pacing ever since his conversation with Lenalee. He couldn't help but think he had made a serious mistake, and was desperately afraid that it wasn't one that could be fixed. He wasn't about to tell Zero what he had inadvertently done... all he could do was accompany the young vampire and hope he didn't do anything rash. He finally quit pacing and turned to the door when it opened.
"You're back no da," he greeted, visibly worried. "How is he na no da?"

He wasn't about to tell Zero what he had inadvertently done... all he could do was accompany the young vampire and hope he didn't do anything rash. He finally quit pacing and turned to the door when it opened.
"You're back no da," he greeted, visibly worried. "How is he na no da?"

He glanced at the window, then sighed and shifted his weight. The rings on his staff jingled quietly in the still air as he did so, and worried ruby eyes finally looked at Zero. "Shall we go no da?"

The last thing he wanted was more innocent blood on his hands.

"All right no da."
He led Zero outside without saying anything else and headed for the bridge where he'd met up with Ease when the other man had first arrived. He seemed so humble and honest, it was very hard to imagine him as a psychopathic killer... but Lenalee had seemed convinced, and Zero was dead set on... well, something.
He paused on the bridge and looked around. "Ease... are you here no da?"

Tyki was already forming a plan in his mind.

"Daisya was attacked when he returned," he finally said plainly. "Do you know anything about it?"
no subject
"Hes back? And was attacked?! How? Who? What? We can't have people attackin' people 'round 'ere!"

"Well," he said softly, "I saw some animal tracks near some blood and chain remains." he looked at the river, "I thought it might've been someone playing a bad game with the rabbits or somethin'."

He looked up at Ease grimly. "If you know anything, now would be the time to say it."
no subject
"I dunno a thing!"
no subject
"An' its happenin' again!"

He took a step closer to Zero and spoke in low tones. "Let's go. This is getting us nowhere, and if we attack him and are wrong it will be bad for us. We need more information... or Lavi or Allen to come with us."

Chichiri sensed the increased instability in Zero and put his hand on the vampire's arm again, but whether it was to restrain him or drag him away it was difficult to say. He dropped his voice again so Ease couldn't hear him.
"That may be true, Zero, but wouldn't you rather be sure first? He may not be the same man who attacked Daisya. We have no way of knowing. Did anyone even ask Daisya what his attacker looked like?"
no subject
"Bad eyesight-'ave a bad body from workin' in the mines, I'd not hurt a fly. No, dats a lie, I have because it kept on gettin' attracted to my sweat." rambling now, all sounded nervous.

He paused, knowing this would get him in trouble, but he had to get Zero away from the hobo before something bad happened.
"Or Daisya, but I really don't think he'll appreciate us putting him through that. Let's go."
no subject
"Because it is impossible for people ta look similar."
