WHO: Any and all friends of Masaomi/anyone who happens to be on the beach! Invitations would’ve gone out via a (handwaved) secret entry or word of mouth.
WHAT: Masaomi’s birthday party, planned by Shikamaru-Gold-Ikki.
WHEN: Wednesday, June 19th.
WHERE: The beach!
SUMMARY: BEACH BIRTHDAY BASH. It’s pretty simple.
RATING: B FOR BIRTHDAY.

So after being reminded about Masaomi’s birthday, Gold came up with a much better idea than Shikamaru’s (lame) sit-down dinner! Therefore welcome to an all-dayish surprise beach birthday party! There are tables for presents and food, there is music (chosen by the boys, not by Ikki), and there is a sand castle city, complete with sandscrapers, which is what Gold put Ikki in charge of. The sand castle city has gotten a little out of hand because of this.

So stop by, wish Masaomi a happy birthday, and HAVE FUN. While there are three topic threads, FEEL FREE AND ENCOURAGED to just throw up your character at the party below that/anywhere, as per always.

[Masaomi, for his part, comes up to Shiemi while he's wet from being in the water. Which also means his shirt's off, exposing his florescent pink wings, muscles, and perhaps most notably, his scars. A lot of minor ones, but there's two severe ones: one on his left shoulder left over from when it was shattered and one on his left side when when he almost died from a spear. But no, he's here for a simple reason-]

[Her blush becomes a little more pronounced as she looks Masoami over. Some how it makes her uncomfortable to see those scars. She's not sure if it's an invasion of privacy to notice them... but maybe it would be rude to ask about them. Instead she'll just try to wrap her head around what he said as she stands up.]

A-actually I made up a tea set with some homemade teas that's sitting at home if that's too mean.

[Masaomi's face actually goes through three stages - the first is genuine surprise when the box is empty, because that does seem mean. The second is slight confusion when she goes through that dramatic desperation. But the third, when the declaration sinks in, as well as her apologetic admission afterwards, is that he bursts out laughing. In fact, he laughs so hard the box is dropped into the sand and he doubles over. This is perhaps the funniest thing he's seen in weeks]

[And he has to sit now, because he's totally going to fall over, and he grins up at her, trying to get it in order-]

After all, some rivals just hate each other [like Izaya and Shizou] but some are actually best friends [like Gold and Silver].

Well we don't hate each other. [Unless Masaomi secretly hates her. But she doesn't think they're BEST FRIENDS either.]
