What: Fun cooking times.

Summary: Peony decides to cook. Florian helps.

action for Florian;
[Rather unexpectedly, today Peony finds himself up before anyone in house one. Now, sure, yesterday was exhausting, being his arrival and all, and he had gone to bed before most in the house, but it was still surprising to wake up early on his own. After all, he was the type of guy who usually slept until mid-morning or early afternoon if he was left alone. But it's not a real big deal either, so he tacks it up to jet lag and thinks for something to do.
Fortunately, he doesn't have to think very long. And as quietly as possible so as to not wake anyone, he heads to the kitchen to get started on what fun he's thought of. His mission there is to teach himself to cook to surprise everyone with something to eat. You know, to do his share around the place, not get bored.
To start, he gathers everything almost remotely edible onto the table and thoughtfully considers what to make. Hmmmmm... there's eggs, milk, and some of those other ingredients that look right for the job. Maybe pancakes?
Hm. Yeah. Pancakes, it is! Confident with his choice, he starts by cracking the eggs into a bowl, not really expecting anyone to appear anytime soon.]
action for the rest of the household;
[After Florian joins in the fun, it seems the two of them have gotten more and more creative with cooking. Besides the floury mess here or there and the faint smell of burnt food, the table in the kitchen is nearly half covered with various breakfast dishes from pancakes to egg waffle sandwiches with some weird element about them or another. It's all well-meaning and in good fun, though. And there's no sign of them stopping anytime soon either.

I'll have to recommend the egg-potato pancakes to start. [Which are not at all hard to miss when Peony gestures to the fatter pancakes with chunky potato bits sticking out of them.]

[He gazes at the egg-potato pancakes, very unimpressed. But it's expected at least. Here just a day, and he's laughing and talking control of the kitchen, steering it towards disaster. The emperor had a skill for adaptability, at least.
He leans down over the egg-y potato-y creation, pretending to investigate it with a carefully appraising eye, while so many other thoughts are running in his head. Jade had been told when he came here that Peony had been here in the past, amongst many others. Including himself. Jade himself had failed to regain any memories of his previous stay. Peony seemed to be a similar case so far, but he knew he had to keep a close eye on him, just in case.]
'Egg-potato pancakes', you say? Now, that's one item that I certainly don't recall seeing anywhere on the breakfast menu in Grand Chokmah's cafe.

But to move on from that subject, he comes around the table and pulls out the chair nearest to Jade, taking the seat for himself and kicking back.]
