[Yu heard the cops screaming at his back as he reacted on instinct, raising a hand in command to the creature behind him. He just needed to think and it responded, and right now he was thinking that he couldn't hurt them too much, because they were only human.]

[That was probably why all the creature did was reach out, calling down lightning to force the police to scatter.]
