What: A wedding and reception
When: Sept 14, All Day
Where: Cherry Blossom Hill / The Battle Dome
Summary: Pepper and Tony are getting married finally officially finally.
Rating: PG/PG-13 max? There's at least one kid here.
The decorations on the hill are simple ones; they've chosen this spot because it's naturally beautiful without the need for embellishments. Chairs have been set up for the expected guests, with a clear path laid out for the wedding party. And of course up front there is a place for those people to stand, in sight of everyone gathered so Tony won't be able to tell Pepper "I told you so" as color commentary won't be necessary.

After the ceremony everyone will be invited to go to the Battle Dome for the reception. There Tony's programmed an expansive hall with tables and seating enough for everyone. There's also a dance floor, which everyone is encouraged to take advantage of. The atmosphere is warm and vibrant, clearly intended to help all in attendance have a good time. Dinner will be served, and there's an open bar, with rum by request of the officiant.

Just don't get too rowdy, okay kids?

"You can't have a good party without good guests, right?" Jack deflects the thanks with a laugh and a gesture of his drink to the assemblage, more than happy to deflect attention from his audio set-up that he's managed to find, make, and on occasion hand-wire into good working order. It does the job, for sure, but compared to what present company could probably manage it feels a bit dinky and ramshackle.

"Oh, I don't know about that. Sometimes the best parties have the worst guests." Of course, the depended on the definition of the party, and even he didn't want this event to be that kind of party.

This was something so much more.

"Well, the night's yet young. And let's not forget where we are." If the service itself is anything to go by, there's still plenty of room for nonsense at the reception.

Still, Jack only quips briefly on the subject, in no mood to earnestly tempt fate. "So, is there a honeymoon planned? Caribbean island programmed into the Battle Dome?"

"It's my personal mission not to tell. We don't need the paparazzi following us." But his tone was teasing, even if he wasn't telling. "Maybe we do, maybe we don't - one things for sure."

He sipped his glass.

"You won't know."

"Oooh, all right then. Consider me told." Jack can't help laughing the words, which really might be intimidating on another subject matter. But a secret maybe-honeymoon? When you were already all trapped together in an enormous bubble? It's a bit silly, in all fairness.

"Anyway," he continues, gesturing at Steve where he is off taking candids of dancing couples. "I see exactly one man with a camera here, and I get the impression a polite throat-clearing would be the most it would take to convince him to point his lens elsewhere."

Tony smirked. "Are you offering to be a co-conspirator? I don't know, I might have to talk to the missus about that."
