Who: Pepper Potts, Tony Stark, and everyone who has gathered there today.
What: A wedding and reception

Where: Cherry Blossom Hill / The Battle Dome
Summary: Pepper and Tony are getting married ~~finally~~ ~~officially~~ finally.
Rating: PG/PG-13 max? There's at least one kid here.
The decorations on the hill are simple ones; they've chosen this spot because it's naturally beautiful without the need for embellishments. Chairs have been set up for the expected guests, with a clear path laid out for the wedding party. And of course up front there is a place for those people to stand, in sight of everyone gathered so Tony won't be able to tell Pepper "I told you so" as color commentary won't be necessary.

After the ceremony everyone will be invited to go to the Battle Dome for the reception. There Tony's programmed an expansive hall with tables and seating enough for everyone. There's also a dance floor, which everyone is encouraged to take advantage of. The atmosphere is warm and vibrant, clearly intended to help all in attendance have a good time. Dinner will be served, and there's an open bar, with rum by request of the officiant.

Just don't get too rowdy, okay kids?

I know! [He says a little too quickly, then slows himself down.]

You too, Suki. That's... it's some dress! Homina homina!

[That was an interesting respond.]

You okay?

Me? Heyy, I'm fine! [He makes an exaggerated wave of his hand.] Don't you remember? The fuzzy man and parties go together like the horse and carriage! [He even finds himself humming slightly.]

What are you even talking about? Kurt, is everything alright? You're acting a little weird.

What do you mean? Get with the times, Suki! We're at a party. Let's act like it. Have some fun!

I am acting like I'm at a party. You're acting... actually i don't know how you're acting, but it isn't like yourself.

[She didn't want him to be hurt by their break up, but this Kurt was way more wild than she pictured him being.]

Okay. Okay! I'll tell you. My big secret... [He gets up, walks towards her and makes a mock bow.] I am acting like... Kurt Wagner. Nice to meet you!

[She took a step back.]

You're acting like a jerk. Are you sure you're okay?

What? [He gives a fake laugh and shrugs.] So now I'm the Jerkka, huh?

[She sighs at the name.]

Kinda, yeah. You're acting really immature right now. If you're trying to give me a reason to not like you, then you're doing a good job.

[His smile breaks for a moment at that. And he takes another sip from his drink.]

Maybe you're just trying to find a reason. I'm just trying to have a good time! It's not like I'm going to be married, myself, any time soon!

I was trying to find a nice conversation, hoping that we could be friends, but you're acting really weird.

You just don't know how to give a fellow a chance! Or hey, maybe you could use a drink or two. Come on... It'll be fun!

[Staring.]

Oh! Is that what you've been doing? Drinking? How much have you had?

Just a few glasses! You don't know about Earth. We Germans... we know how to hold our liquor! And to use it as awesomely as possible! [He's so into this sentence that he fistpumps.]

You certainly aren't acting like you can hold it well. You're acting like an idiot.

[Sigh.]

Maybe we should talk when you sober up.

Now that's harsh. Or you could drink some too and we can talk! [He smiles and waves his glass in the air.] Eh? Eh?

I am not drinking. And I am not talking to you when you're like this.

Just... talk to me when you're not acting like an idiot, alright? [Suki is not okay with drinking, and she is not okay with talking to Kurt when he's basically a drunken fool. So she turns to leave.]

[He huffs and runs a hand through his hair.]

Whatever. You don't know what you're missing, man!

[With Suki gone, the nearby bartender shakes his hand as he pours Kurt another drink.]

Women, right?

Right. [He had been thinking of taking a break after this drink... but that confrontation left such an unpleasant feeling in him that he impulsively went for the next one.

And once he's alone with his drink again, he quietly continues to hum to himself the same theme song he had found himself waking up to in the middle of the night whenever he'd fallen asleep in front of the tv.]

Love und the marriage, love und the marriage...

[And whenever he sobers up? He really does feel too much like an idiot to look for her.]

[Jack shakes his head. Poor little guy. He'll make this next drink a soda. Best to cut him off now.]

You know, nineties sitcoms aren't as popular with women as we they were in the nineties. And even then, they didn't really do it.

Hey, it's not like I was relying on it! It was just... stuck in my head, you know?

I feel that pain. I spent a year with the Full House theme in my head. But the worst part was, I was missing an entire verse. Do you know how hard that is? Missing a verse? Not knowing what it is? Damn you, Bob Saget.

I feel lucky enough when I don't get it and the Family Matters mixed up! Bob Saget... Is he the dad? Something about him always seemed weird.
