The first step is the one you believe in
Who: Pepper Potts, Tony Stark, and everyone who has gathered there today.
What: A wedding and reception
When: Sept 14, All Day
Where: Cherry Blossom Hill / The Battle Dome
Summary: Pepper and Tony are getting marriedfinally officially finally.
Rating: PG/PG-13 max? There's at least one kid here.
The decorations on the hill are simple ones; they've chosen this spot because it's naturally beautiful without the need for embellishments. Chairs have been set up for the expected guests, with a clear path laid out for the wedding party. And of course up front there is a place for those people to stand, in sight of everyone gathered so Tony won't be able to tell Pepper "I told you so" as color commentary won't be necessary.
After the ceremony everyone will be invited to go to the Battle Dome for the reception. There Tony's programmed an expansive hall with tables and seating enough for everyone. There's also a dance floor, which everyone is encouraged to take advantage of. The atmosphere is warm and vibrant, clearly intended to help all in attendance have a good time. Dinner will be served, and there's an open bar, with rum by request of the officiant.
Just don't get too rowdy, okay kids?
{{ooc: Visual references and details can be found here. Link is very image heavy. There will be separate threads for before the ceremony, during, and the reception.
EDIT: Now with a sign up to catch the bouquet!}}

[The champagne is readily accepted, holding the glass properly-- he had some grooming as a professional-type-- loosely in one hand. He wasn't exactly being a wallflower, but it had been a while since he'd been around so many jovial people. It was fun, if overwhelming.
And then he glanced at Tasha and whistled lowly, sipping from his glass before he spoke.]
I may be taken, but I confess, you look fantastic. We should really have weddings more often. How about me and Jack get married every year for our anniversary? We can have it all formal...

[His compliment has her smiling fondly and inclining her head.] You clean up very nice yourself. And maybe we will. Although if you're redoing your vows every year, we'll have to keep a running petition to get Elvis back.

[His smile grew a little embarrassed at the mention of Elvis, but it had been very memorable. Now only if they had exchanged vows with less tongue-in-cheek. Still, the apprehension was brief and he rubbed his smooth chin, smiling right at Natasha]
D'you like it? Bucky got me a straight razor and I figured it's nice to come looking sharp.

She looked a little surprised at the mention of that, then a little delighted.] Did he now? Clever move on his part. Yes, I like it very much. Although you also look good a little scruffy, so I can't complain either way. [She was teasing him, yes, but he should be getting used to that by now. Although that rarely stopped him from getting a little flustered by it, which just encouraged her to do it more.]

[And that hadn't gone over swimmingly. It had been downright tumultuous. But he did have to err on the side of Jack, considering their... unique situation. His reverie was drawn out when he heard Natasha compliment him-- and he couldn't help but blush and attempt not to smile. A brief glance away, to the wall, to the ceiling then back to her, gave him time to parse that information]
So... don't stroke Tony's ego, but stroke Eugene's. I like this idea. Go on.

[She'd made him blush, and that fact has an amused grin flitting across her lips.]
I think I'll leave the stroking to your partner, actually, but I might steal you for a dance, since you're here so conveniently unoccupied.

I think Jack would have objections if you started doing that, anyway. Dancing sounds great, let's just not do anything seriously acrobatic?
[Sure he had full command of his leg at this juncture, but he wasn't keen on the acrobatics that Tasha could put him through. He had her to thank for his mobility, he knew she would also be able to make him immobile if she wanted, as well]

[She's still grinning at his blush as she tugs him out to the dance floor, a hint of mischief in green eyes.]
I save most of my acrobatics for Bucky these days, so I think you're safe.

[the tug had him quickly catching up after her, trying to avoid running in to anyone engrossed in the music. Tasha was a decent height, and with his previous partner typically being Jack, he found he had to think about where to put his hands]
I appreciate your understanding in the lack of acrobatic talents from yours truly. I prefer hockey, it's more fun.
