What: A wedding and reception

Where: Cherry Blossom Hill / The Battle Dome
Summary: Pepper and Tony are getting married finally officially finally.
Rating: PG/PG-13 max? There's at least one kid here.
The decorations on the hill are simple ones; they've chosen this spot because it's naturally beautiful without the need for embellishments. Chairs have been set up for the expected guests, with a clear path laid out for the wedding party. And of course up front there is a place for those people to stand, in sight of everyone gathered so Tony won't be able to tell Pepper "I told you so" as color commentary won't be necessary.

After the ceremony everyone will be invited to go to the Battle Dome for the reception. There Tony's programmed an expansive hall with tables and seating enough for everyone. There's also a dance floor, which everyone is encouraged to take advantage of. The atmosphere is warm and vibrant, clearly intended to help all in attendance have a good time. Dinner will be served, and there's an open bar, with rum by request of the officiant.

Just don't get too rowdy, okay kids?

"Oh, really." He says with a pout, his arms crossed. "I didn't think this would be decided through bench-pressing. Otherwise, I would have stepped up to bat."

"Did I?" He knocks at his head. "Sometimes my eggs just get a little scrambled, you know?"

"I'll forgive you--" She snarked in a rather good naturedly fashion. "After all, it's what a Best Man ought to be. Forgiving. Though now I could really go for some scrambled eggs, thanks..."

"You're missing the foresight of a best man, than. I know that I would've made sure that the happy couple included a breakfast buffet."

"Pre-ceremony? Are you mad? There were cummerbunds to be fit into!"

"Well maybe it would have been... What the heck is a cumber-bun?"

[herotypical]

"It's the wide belt thing that goes over your wasitline and the bottom of your shirt. It's kinda archaic, I guess."

"Unless you're a Star Wars villain, yeah. The fuzzy man does fine without them." He's just dorky in different ways.

[herotypical]

Buffy laughed -- good natured.

"Oh? For what definition of 'doing fine'?"

[wildbluevagner]

"The finest definition of course. I don't settle for anything less!" He started to dance in place in order to display this.

[herotypical]

"I never knew you were so...energetic."

Probably because she'd only ever really gotten used to a Kurt who glared at her.

"Then you must have never really me at a party! Come on, I bet you can slay the dance floor, too."

[herotypical]

"I've been known to boogie.

Why -- is this a challenge?"

"Maybe it is. May... the best man win?"

[herotypical]

Light laughter, paired with a playfully competitive spirit.

"You're on. But we need rules. No disco might be one of them. Not 'cause I don't like disco, but just 'cause it'd be way too easy."

"I'll have to give you that one. After all, it's as easy as stayin' alive." He took a moment to chuckle at his little reference. "Maybe we should leave out hip hop, too."

"...How are you with swing?"

"I can swing it."
