What: A wedding and reception
When: Sept 14, All Day
Where: Cherry Blossom Hill / The Battle Dome
Summary: Pepper and Tony are getting married finally officially finally.
Rating: PG/PG-13 max? There's at least one kid here.
The decorations on the hill are simple ones; they've chosen this spot because it's naturally beautiful without the need for embellishments. Chairs have been set up for the expected guests, with a clear path laid out for the wedding party. And of course up front there is a place for those people to stand, in sight of everyone gathered so Tony won't be able to tell Pepper "I told you so" as color commentary won't be necessary.

After the ceremony everyone will be invited to go to the Battle Dome for the reception. There Tony's programmed an expansive hall with tables and seating enough for everyone. There's also a dance floor, which everyone is encouraged to take advantage of. The atmosphere is warm and vibrant, clearly intended to help all in attendance have a good time. Dinner will be served, and there's an open bar, with rum by request of the officiant.

Just don't get too rowdy, okay kids?

"You do too. That dress is lovely." Pepper smiled graciously, looking down for a moment as Suki gathered herself. She couldn't be happier with how things turned out, and the question may have been answered by the spark in her eyes alone.

"Pretty amazing, I have to admit. I hope you're having a good time?"

"I'm having a great time, but I don't think my opinion matters. This is your wedding after all." She's only kidding... a little. "But your wedding is perfect. And you look perfect. Seriously, one of the prettiest brides I've seen.

"Of course it does. We want everyone to have a good time with us; this is a celebration, after all." And even if it's Pepper's day, her happiness isn't the only one that matters. Matters most, maybe. But not only.

"Thank you. I'm a little sad this is a once in a lifetime dress, to be honest." Because Pepper is aware of how well it fits. But part of the beauty is that it is a wedding dress--and part also her own radiance from the sheer joy she's experiencing.

"Well, hopefully you'll look this beautiful everyday." Because Suki realizes that some of it comes from just the happiness Pepper is feeling. "And if there's ever a second that Tony isn't making you smile like this, I'll be rougher on him during training."

[handing]

Pepper laughed at the promise, nodding her head. "That's very generous of you. I wish I could say it won't be necessary, but I've been with Tony awhile, so..."

She winked, though Pepper was kidding--mostly.

"I've only been training with him for few weeks, and I feel like I've known them for so long." She chuckled. "I guess he's just that kind of person."

“He can be at times.” But beneath the ego and the eccentricity was an incredible man. Pepper’s fondness was clear as she let her gaze wander over to her husband, standing nearby but engaged in his own conversation. They’d find each other again soon, and Pepper absently touched her rings.

“If he ever gets on your nerves too much, let me know.”

"Or I can do it for fun. It's kinda fun kicking his butt." Not that she's proud or anything.

Pepper laughed, picking up on that sense of pride that wasn't actually there or anything. "Yes, yes it is. Not that I've kicked his butt literally, but doing it in the metaphorical sense is pretty entertaining too."
