What: A wedding and reception
When: Sept 14, All Day
Where: Cherry Blossom Hill / The Battle Dome
Summary: Pepper and Tony are getting married finally officially finally.
Rating: PG/PG-13 max? There's at least one kid here.
The decorations on the hill are simple ones; they've chosen this spot because it's naturally beautiful without the need for embellishments. Chairs have been set up for the expected guests, with a clear path laid out for the wedding party. And of course up front there is a place for those people to stand, in sight of everyone gathered so Tony won't be able to tell Pepper "I told you so" as color commentary won't be necessary.

After the ceremony everyone will be invited to go to the Battle Dome for the reception. There Tony's programmed an expansive hall with tables and seating enough for everyone. There's also a dance floor, which everyone is encouraged to take advantage of. The atmosphere is warm and vibrant, clearly intended to help all in attendance have a good time. Dinner will be served, and there's an open bar, with rum by request of the officiant.

Just don't get too rowdy, okay kids?

Ikki is of course present. She's still wearing her flower girl dress plus golden shoes for the reception, although she's sans basket full of flowers (though at least one probably found it's way into her hair at some point, tucked behind an ear). She was bouncy and happy throughout the ceremony, and is bouncy and happy throughout the reception - and more than happy to dance with or speak to anyone. She'll probably hug people randomly if she sees and recognizes them.

[Aang sees you springing those hugs, dear granddaughter. So he'll raise you one of own! With an airbending flourish, he whirls past her and pulls her into a spinning hug.]

Hey Ikki! Wanna dance?

[breezing]

[ Airbending hugs are the best hugs! Ikki laughs brightly, continuing to spin once she's set down, because - well, why not? She beams at the question. ]

Yes yes yes yes! What dance should we do?

How about you pick, Ikki! [He says... and he spins a little to match her spinning after setting her down.] You're the flower princess, after all.

[breezing]

Hmmmmmm! Wanna try waltzing? It looks fun! Like princesses and princes!

Okay, Ikki! We can do a super special princess and prince waltz!

[breezing]

Does that mean it has stuff that isn't in a regular waltz?

[ Because she's okay with additions...She spins again. ]

Isn't the dress really pretty? I want a flower girl at my wedding. This one was fun to see, wasn't it? Even if Tony didn't buy her a sky castle, he told me he could if he wanted to and business ladies are better than princesses.

Ikki, that dress is one of the prettiest dresses in the world. I really enjoyed watching the wedding, and I'm so proud of you. I'm sure you'll have a flower girl for your wedding. What's a business lady?

[breezing]

I think it's kinda like Asami. Someone who runs a business and wears stuff that's business-y.

[ Don't quote her on that, though. ]

I don't think they get to wear crowns, so I don't want to be one. But they DO get cars, so maybe I DO.

Oh. Huh. Asami is one of the coolest people I know...

Why don't you become the princess of business?

[breezing]

Do you think I'd still get a castle if I did that?

[ The important issues at hand here. ]

Yep! It'd be a business castle!

[breezing]

Do you think it'd wear a suit? I guess business people have to wear those!!

The castle? I guess so! Maybe a tie, too, while we're at it.

Do they make suits and ties that big, or would we have to sew them ourselves?

[How is it that the least friendly person at this wedding is only really here to see the friendliest? Raven doesn't know too many people here, so she gravitates toward Ikki a bit. Or a lot.]

[breezing]

[ Ikki's perfectly happy to be gravitated to - or at least she immediately beams the first time she spots Raven - and probably threw her a flower during her flower girl duties - and will go up to her during the reception, skipping. ]

Raven! I didn't know you were friends with Tony and Pepper!

[pendantry]

I'm not. [Simple enough.] I made their rings, so they asked. [Pity, maybe. Or needing to have more people show up.]

...But I only came because you're here.

[breezing]

You knew I was going to be here?

[ Ikki looks happy about that, anyway, although...Raven... ]

Well, I'm glad you're here!! It's pretty fun, right?

[pendantry]

[Not really.]

It's...okay.

[breezing]

I think you look SUPER pretty!! Are you going to try to catch the bouquet?

[pendantry]

Buffy said I look...cold and standoffish. [And she's all worried about it.] No. Someone else should.

[breezing]

She said that? That's kinda mean!! But I don't think you look like that.

I mean, you always look a little reserved I guess, but it's easy to see when you're happy or not. You smile and stuff, you're just more quiet about it. I don't think that's a bad thing.

[pendantry]

[She smiles at Ikki and occasionally Sokka or Winry. Leon, too. Rapunzel.

It's a short list.]

I have to be quiet, I have too many loud-

[Friends. The word dies before it has a chance and Raven just stands there, wide-eyed and mouth open.]

[breezing]

[ Ikki gives Raven a puzzled look, rocking back and forth on her feet in the manner of a young child who doesn't feel like standing still but who doesn't want to leave just yet. ]

What's wrong? Are you okay? D'you need me to get you a glass of water?
