What: A wedding and reception
When: Sept 14, All Day
Where: Cherry Blossom Hill / The Battle Dome
Summary: Pepper and Tony are getting married finally officially finally.
Rating: PG/PG-13 max? There's at least one kid here.
The decorations on the hill are simple ones; they've chosen this spot because it's naturally beautiful without the need for embellishments. Chairs have been set up for the expected guests, with a clear path laid out for the wedding party. And of course up front there is a place for those people to stand, in sight of everyone gathered so Tony won't be able to tell Pepper "I told you so" as color commentary won't be necessary.

After the ceremony everyone will be invited to go to the Battle Dome for the reception. There Tony's programmed an expansive hall with tables and seating enough for everyone. There's also a dance floor, which everyone is encouraged to take advantage of. The atmosphere is warm and vibrant, clearly intended to help all in attendance have a good time. Dinner will be served, and there's an open bar, with rum by request of the officiant.

Just don't get too rowdy, okay kids?

She nodded quickly at that, her smile widening. It had been months since she had started working with Clint on a regular basis. He had been right. Being a superhero was what she was, even if she didn't have any powers or nearly enough training. Cassie's death needed to count but it didn't need to stop her.

"We share the name codename, actually. I'm the other Hawkeye."

[handing]

Pepper nodded, remembering that the Young Avengers had modeled themselves after the older superheroes. "Just Hawkeye, correct? I'm pretty sure I've heard Tony sticking a 'junior' on the end, but it doesn't seem to suit you."

[tryit]

Her eyes narrow for a second at that mention of "junior." No. The word most definitely does not fit the girl.

"Permission to whack him with an arrow if he does it again?"

[handing]

"That depends on what you mean by the word 'whack.'" Pepper knew Tony brought a great deal of it on himself, but she did generally tend to prefer keeping him alive and healthy. "I'll see what I can do about the nickname, but I won't make any promises."

"I'll keep it to the non-lethal variety."

Just, y'know, a good scare or something. Pretty please?

[handing]

“Well, that’s promising.”

Still, Pepper had to be careful how many people she gives that permission to. Kate wasn’t the first one to ask today. “Why don’t you let me talk to him first—maybe to at least warn him about your threat of violence?” Which, granted, only had a fifty percent chance of working. But she could try.

"Consider it a wedding gift," she answered with a smile.

Okay, so it wasn't exactly a piece of Waterford crystal but here in Luceti, she figured it'd have to do. And it really was sort of cute the way Pepper was protecting him. It probably didn't matter the universe. There was no way Tony Stark could survive without Pepper Potts in his life.

“One I’ll hold very dear.”  As Pepper generally didn’t approve of her husband getting hurt; funny thing.  Of course, there was only so much she could do, and Pepper thought Tony might be one or two “Juniors” away from getting smacked regardless of what she said.
 
She also thought that she was starting to like Kate.

"I'm glad." Though, next time? Definitely going to stick with the Waterford. Probably a whole lot easier than a promise Kate wasn't entirely certain she could keep. "I should probably let you get back to him. Or your other guests. The bride's always in demand."
