What: A wedding and reception

Where: Cherry Blossom Hill / The Battle Dome
Summary: Pepper and Tony are getting married finally officially finally.
Rating: PG/PG-13 max? There's at least one kid here.
The decorations on the hill are simple ones; they've chosen this spot because it's naturally beautiful without the need for embellishments. Chairs have been set up for the expected guests, with a clear path laid out for the wedding party. And of course up front there is a place for those people to stand, in sight of everyone gathered so Tony won't be able to tell Pepper "I told you so" as color commentary won't be necessary.

After the ceremony everyone will be invited to go to the Battle Dome for the reception. There Tony's programmed an expansive hall with tables and seating enough for everyone. There's also a dance floor, which everyone is encouraged to take advantage of. The atmosphere is warm and vibrant, clearly intended to help all in attendance have a good time. Dinner will be served, and there's an open bar, with rum by request of the officiant.

Just don't get too rowdy, okay kids?

Her handshake is firm, if not a bit cocky when he mentions her specialty. Nope, if that smirk on her face is any indication, no need to guess at all. Especially since it was his self from her universe that gave her the codename. And the bow to go with it.]

[That's a story he'd probably enjoy hearing sometime. After they're moved past the "from alternate universes with alternate history" awkwardness. He's still curious about the kind of guy this other him is.]

Alright, Kate. For me it's Steve. Or Cap, if you want. It seems to be a nickname that's catching on.

Steve. Cap makes me think too much of that other guy. [She winces, flashing him a sheepish little smile for a moment.] And I'd never try to harangue him into a dance.

[He chuckles.] Is he that intimidating or just a really poor dancer? But don't worry about it. You couldn't have known.

He's... [Hold on a sec. How the hell do you explain Captain America to Captain America?

She shakes her head, waving a hand in dismissal. Y'know what? It's probably best to just move on with the conversation.] Forget it. Um, look. This might be inappropriate given the direction this conversation went, but youstillwouldn'twantthatdancewouldyou?

[Because. Bragging rights the next time she chats with Teddy and Billy.]

[His eyebrows shoot up and his eye twinkle with amusement. He was sure that she would take back her offer now that she knew who he was. He's kind of glad that that isn't the case.]

You are very persistent. But you have been warned. So...yes. I'll give it a shot.

Cool.

[She laughs, a tinge of shyness still clinging to her smile. Dancing with Captain America. Very cool.

Feeling a little high on her own boldness, she offers a playful curtsy.] Mister Rogers?

[He responses in kind with an exaggerated bow.]

Miss Bishop.

[Once he straightens up he offers her his arm, elbow bent for her to grab onto.]

[She slips her arm into the crook of the elbow, willing to give Steve the lead just until they hit the dance floor.
