What: A wedding and reception
When: Sept 14, All Day
Where: Cherry Blossom Hill / The Battle Dome
Summary: Pepper and Tony are getting married finally officially finally.
Rating: PG/PG-13 max? There's at least one kid here.
The decorations on the hill are simple ones; they've chosen this spot because it's naturally beautiful without the need for embellishments. Chairs have been set up for the expected guests, with a clear path laid out for the wedding party. And of course up front there is a place for those people to stand, in sight of everyone gathered so Tony won't be able to tell Pepper "I told you so" as color commentary won't be necessary.

After the ceremony everyone will be invited to go to the Battle Dome for the reception. There Tony's programmed an expansive hall with tables and seating enough for everyone. There's also a dance floor, which everyone is encouraged to take advantage of. The atmosphere is warm and vibrant, clearly intended to help all in attendance have a good time. Dinner will be served, and there's an open bar, with rum by request of the officiant.

Just don't get too rowdy, okay kids?

"Much as the booze is appreciated, seems you'd want to do yer 'celebrating to its fullest' somewhere more private."

[handing]

“Which we will, later on. But this is the part where we spend time with our friends, and dance, and enjoy telling people that I’m adding Tony’s name to mine rather than changing it completely.”

[snikting]

"He gonna do the same for you?"

[handing]

"Probably not." And Pepper wouldn't ask him to. Stark was as much a brand as it was a name, even if that wasn't as relevant in Luceti. But beyond the business aspects, it had been enough to get Tony to marry her.

[snikting]

"Shame. He'd make a good Potts."

[handing]

That earned a short laugh; she'd just been thinking about what the Stark men were famous for, so it was easy enough to shift her thoughts toward the attributes that might make a Potts.

"No he wouldn't."

[snikting]

"Hm. Not nearly nosy enough."

[handing]

Pepper scoffed at that remark, shooting Logan an incredulous look.  “Oh, is that my defining trait?  And here I was thinking it had something to do with responsibility or punctuality or realistic perspectives.”
 
Although it was refreshing, in a strange sort of way; pretty much everyone had joked about Tony’s flaws throughout this process, pointed out how he was the lucky one.  Not Logan, though.  He was an ass who didn’t give a crap about potentially offending anyone—and just then, it wasn’t a bad thing.
 
Not that she was about to tell him that.

[snikting]

As much as Logan didn't care for Tony, he found him mildly bearable in the sense that Tony never went looking for Logan. When they interacted, it was purely by mutual inconvenience. Pepper, though...

"Nope. Definitely bein' too nosy and pushy fer yer own good. I hope yer plannin' to take some of this booze home. Seems Tin Man's gonna be needin' some of it."

[handing]

"I think we'll manage somehow. But I'll tell Tony you wish him all the best." Which was how Pepper chose to take that statement, thank you very much. She smiled sweetly as she moved to her feet. "And by the way, Logan? Thank you for coming."

[snikting]

He glared at her, gave an unhappy grunt, and went back to drinking her booze.

That damn woman.
