What: A wedding and reception

Where: Cherry Blossom Hill / The Battle Dome
Summary: Pepper and Tony are getting married finally officially finally.
Rating: PG/PG-13 max? There's at least one kid here.
The decorations on the hill are simple ones; they've chosen this spot because it's naturally beautiful without the need for embellishments. Chairs have been set up for the expected guests, with a clear path laid out for the wedding party. And of course up front there is a place for those people to stand, in sight of everyone gathered so Tony won't be able to tell Pepper "I told you so" as color commentary won't be necessary.

After the ceremony everyone will be invited to go to the Battle Dome for the reception. There Tony's programmed an expansive hall with tables and seating enough for everyone. There's also a dance floor, which everyone is encouraged to take advantage of. The atmosphere is warm and vibrant, clearly intended to help all in attendance have a good time. Dinner will be served, and there's an open bar, with rum by request of the officiant.

Just don't get too rowdy, okay kids?

[Oh is that champagne? Law's own glass is empty and he's just put it down. He's a little too over the moon to think about getting a refill (for now), so the glass Gai's bringing will be welcomed indeed.]

Oi. [Casual grin.] How's Miss Elizabeth enjoying the wedding?

[No worries there; Gai will be holding out one of those glasses the moment he gets close enough to Law. The other one is for himself, of course. While he might not have any intentions of actually getting drunk, the buzz does help take the edge off the aches caused by the virus.]

She's having a great time. This is the first wedding she's ever attended, so you can imagine how exciting it is to her.

[Thank you, he'll be taking that and not saying a word about Gai's champagne, naturally.]

First wedding, huh? Yeah, I can imagine it's something else for her. [And a sudden nudging smile.] And yourself?

[Aka, what have you two lovebirds been up to?]

[You're always a bro, Law.]

Me? It's my first one too. Funeral Parlor wasn't exactly full of the marrying type.

[Oh, he knows what Law is hinting at, and he's deliberately dodging the question for the moment.]

Mmm? [But how long can you dodge, given Law's smiling like that?]

Been a while since I've been to one of these, personally. It's a... little different. Weddings among my kind tend to have everyone heavily armed for one. And everyone here is far too sober.

[voidseeing]

Now that sounds more like something I'd be used to attending.

[He just... won't mention the time he called in that tip to the GHQ that resulted in cruise missiles being fired on a party on a ship.]

I did always make sure the bar in HQ was well-stocked for a reason.

They're fun, yeah. [Often bloody in the end too. Pirates just don't get along, but fun when it doesn't descend into a massacre.] Oh? How well is this one here stacking up in comparison then?

It's got things that don't even exist where I'm from, so it wins by default. Speaking of which, it would be a waste not to give some of those things a try while I'm here. Might as well take advantage of the chance.
