House of M - The Beginning
Who: Billy Kaplan + Anyone who wants to be involved in the House of M Plot + Related CR + Anyone Really
What: Um. The House of M Plot.
When: October 1st-7th
Where: Literally anywhere in Luceti, yo
Summary: Billy returns from a kidnapping feeling a bit, er, different. A white light envelops the village for just a moment, and when it fades... well. All kinds of things are different, actually.
Rating: Varies, anything above R take it elsewhere!
Still accepting last minute sign-ups, if anyone is interested.
It starts off so innocently, early on the morning of October 1st. A burst of light, a warm rush of energy that consumes everything it touches, and it's gentle enough to feel like stepping out into sunlight from the shade. It's so brief that some people might not even notice it happened. But there are certainly... differences. Some subtle, some not. And those changed won't even understand the problem.
After all, why would perfection be a problem?
The truth is, there are no problems. There can't be. It's perfect, Billy thinks. Believes it. His belief is his reality, and now, it's their reality. It all has to be perfect; they deserve it, all of them, for one reason or another. And he'll do whatever he has to protect that perfection from being tainted, ruined, taken away from them.
Teddy died so this could happen, after all.
So what is your new reality?

"Don't jinx it. I mean - you're not the only one it's weird for." It didn't feel weird to him, but when he put it on context of who he used to be? It was definitely weird. But the funny thing was, he wouldn't change a thing about his life these days. "I'm still flying by the seat of my pants roughly ninety-eight percent of the time. The other two is when we're blowing stuff up. That I've got down pat."

Unlike Billy, Tony's gaze drifts over to where Susanna is chatting up Teddy for details on his princely life. Precious indeed.

He's glad that Tony's happy, though. That's why she even exists, and if he wasn't happy, it would all be pointless. "...Well, good. Weird is better than miserable, anyway."

"What about you? We don't just have to talk about me. For once."

...well, it doesn't matter. He manages a smile anyway and shrugs his shoulders. "What's to tell? I'm doing okay. The people I care about are happy, and that's reason enough for me to not complain."

"I better save your boyfriend. She's not going to run out of questions anytime soon." He looked back towards Teddy and Susanna. "Hey, Sue - let's pump some fruits and veggies full of electricity, shall we?"

He's glad that it looks like they're doing well, at least.]
