House of M - The Beginning
Who: Billy Kaplan + Anyone who wants to be involved in the House of M Plot + Related CR + Anyone Really
What: Um. The House of M Plot.
When: October 1st-7th
Where: Literally anywhere in Luceti, yo
Summary: Billy returns from a kidnapping feeling a bit, er, different. A white light envelops the village for just a moment, and when it fades... well. All kinds of things are different, actually.
Rating: Varies, anything above R take it elsewhere!
Still accepting last minute sign-ups, if anyone is interested.
It starts off so innocently, early on the morning of October 1st. A burst of light, a warm rush of energy that consumes everything it touches, and it's gentle enough to feel like stepping out into sunlight from the shade. It's so brief that some people might not even notice it happened. But there are certainly... differences. Some subtle, some not. And those changed won't even understand the problem.
After all, why would perfection be a problem?
The truth is, there are no problems. There can't be. It's perfect, Billy thinks. Believes it. His belief is his reality, and now, it's their reality. It all has to be perfect; they deserve it, all of them, for one reason or another. And he'll do whatever he has to protect that perfection from being tainted, ruined, taken away from them.
Teddy died so this could happen, after all.
So what is your new reality?

Not if you go in first!
[And thus, a real but very loving push toward the water.]

Laughing, he tries to drag Natasha down with him.] Betrayed by my own kid! You know what, that hurt my feelings most of all.
no subject
It really did?
[What if he wasn't joking?]

Of course it didn't. Just his backside. Although I suspect its more wet than anything.
[She gives Rue an reassuring squeeze, then glances up at Bucky from where she's sprawled in his lap with a smirk.]
Hi.

He grins and shakes his head.] I'm teasing, sugar plum. I'm proud of you - you're already too clever for me, just like your ma.
[He flicks a little water at Rue before glancing down at Natasha. He is
pretending to beunimpressed with her.]жопа.

Well now that we're almost all wet, it seems silly to waste the chance. [To carefully rise from the mingled laps of her parents and splash at both of them.]

[There's laughter in her tone as she returns the scolding, entirely not meaning it, but then she's distracted by their daughter's movement and she gasps in mock outrage as Rue sends a handful of water in their direction.]
Oh, so it's to be all-out war, is it? [She's grinning as she sends another wave back at her daughter in revenge.]

[Bucky squirms out from underneath Natasha, but instead of splashing back at them, he tries to sneak around and catch Rue so he can dunk her in the water.]

That wasn't even close to French.

Truce, truce! There's hot chocolate in it for you if you give your old man a break.
[He gives Natasha a quick little smirk.] My Russian lessons were more interesting.

[Bucky gets a playful swat for his comment as she gives him a wry look, but there's playful humor glinting in her eyes.] And of course they were. It's Russian.
[Which had nothing to do with why they'd been more interesting, but there were children about. One in particular.]
I'm sorryyyyyy
[He just smirks when Natasha hits him, totally unrepentant, and moves over to Rue's side so he can tuck some of her damp hair away from her face.] Come on little lake monster, you're gonna catch a cold. You still too old for piggy back rides?
