[It's October 10th and birthday preparations in the Uzumaki household have been finalized. Since Naruto had invited the whole village and there's no way that many people could fit inside their house, they opted for making the back garden party-ready instead.

Picnic tables have been set up outside, decorated with confetti. There are separate ones that hold all the food and drinks, and the entire garden has been decorated with balloons and streamers.]

[ooc: As it says, this is an open log for Naruto's party. Even if you didn't reply to his announcement feel free to show up, since everyone got invited. Make your own threads and go crazy :v]

[Itachi gives Naruto a curious look, head slightly tilted. He might have said Law at one point, but they're clearly more than friends now. He's had pleasant enough interactions with others in the village, and with some from their own world, but he can't speak for them in regards to whether or not they would consider him an actual friend.

So he says nothing, because he can't immediately supply a name.]

[They were friends, were they? Naruto uses that word so easily. He smiles slightly at the other ninja.]

I'm afraid I just don't share your enthusiasm in that regard.

Perhaps I have a couple friends, by your definition.

Yeah! Just to, y'know, make sure you're doing okay. [Why is that such a strange thing? He's running around talking to everyone here constantly.]

[Had not bringing him been a bad idea? He supposes he could have stopped by the house first, but Law and Naruto aren't too familiar with each other, are they?]

I had been unsure of stopping by in the first place, so I didn't bring it up with him.

[Just as long as it wasn't because of feeling unwelcome. Naruto had literally invited people off the street to attend earlier.]

Well, we're practically neighbours, right? [They can probably hear Uzumaki yelling now and again, from that distance.]

Does Sasuke ever come stay at your place? Hey, next time he's there, I should come over or something.

[That way he gets to see Sasuke and also gets to be nosy and see Itachi's house it's basically a win/win.]

If Sasuke wants you over, he can inform you. I'm not letting you know whenever he stops by.

Well.. he did come over this one time ages ago when I asked him too. He usually doesn't wanna go places though.

[Usually because Naruto just shows up and they bicker about things and then he invites him places.]

Perhaps you should try again. Don't pester him, just be polite about it.

[He doesn't know enough about how things work between his brother and Naruto, but Sasuke could use this boy as a friend.]
