[It's October 10th and birthday preparations in the Uzumaki household have been finalized. Since Naruto had invited the whole village and there's no way that many people could fit inside their house, they opted for making the back garden party-ready instead.

Picnic tables have been set up outside, decorated with confetti. There are separate ones that hold all the food and drinks, and the entire garden has been decorated with balloons and streamers.]

[ooc: As it says, this is an open log for Naruto's party. Even if you didn't reply to his announcement feel free to show up, since everyone got invited. Make your own threads and go crazy :v]

[Because he likes watering things, right?? Weird hobby. Either way he only picked it up on a whim, after seeing it while looking for Naruto's other present.]

[He does actually. It's oddly comforting. But now he is focusing on the boots, which actually look really cool. And now that it's getting colder too...]

...You got these for me? [You know even though it's been happning all day, the fact that so many people are taking time and effort to give him thoughtful gifts.

[The smirk accompanying that comment is ever present, but not as sharp as usual. He recognizes that look on Naruto's face and doesn't want to degrade him any.]

Luceti's a pain... It's not at all like Konoha, with its mild winters. Once it starts snowing, you'll wanna switch to those.

[So it's going to get cold? That sorta sucks. But now the boots will be useful instead of just a good gift.

Sitting down on the floor, he's pulling his sandals off to try them on.]
