Not yet. I'm trying to see if they're rigged like casino machines back home on top of figuring out their internal mechanical workings. I've always been wanting to build slot machines, but my company thought it was a ridiculous idea.

[He questions, pulling the harness over his own shoulders after they've taken a seat. He knew nothing about the ability to traverse space via man-made machines of course. Did that mean that this... thing was going to send them there? Was that not dangerous?

Why do you think they've brought us all here, at the same time, together? [The enclosures don't tend to mix well always, even if they've cooperated at times. The Malnosso surely know this. So what are they trying to accomplish?]

[Tear wasn't entirely sure what to think or even do when her boyfriend was abruptly pulled from her side, a noticeable presence given how close she had been simply because of the area they were in. She'd tried to follow after him of course, and still was, but the park employees insisted she stay back. Their methods could almost be called aggressive...

She hadn't realized he had already been released from the clutches of the mistaken employees, since she'd been so focused on keeping her gaze ahead while she looked for him. It's why she walks right by, especially when she was also looking for the umbrella that had been their company as well the past few days.]

[ Panda's singing makes her give him a funny look. Which he probably misses, but she's frowning up at him anyway. What is up with you Panda. ]

That depends. What's an Icee? [ ... ] And don't say ice; I maean other than that.

[Ami rummages in her pockets and feels the crisp paper of some money, but...]

Do they use Japanese money here? [When Mama travels, she has to get different kinds of money. Maybe it's the same at this park, too.]

Bubble Land

[Bulla's character card has cast her as a prima ballerina. She doesn't exactly fit the role, but she did have a few years of ballet lessons. She's not really actively participating in her role because she thinks this is kind of nerdy and not in the impressively intelligent way. Now and then, though, she puts in a token effort and does a little twirl.

Then she catches sight of that crying child and his very distinctive hairstyle. Well, there's no mistaking that it's her father, and she knows it's possible to be de-aged temporarily... That doesn't make this any less weird.

She has to wonder if he'll even recognize her. Well, there's only one way to find out and she's hardly going to leave him alone like that.]

Hey...are you okay? Did you eat something that's making you feel sick?

[If he's only got his memories as a child, he'll have no idea who she is, but he wouldn't cry over just anything. The combination of being lost and ill might do it. Maybe.]

Loki hadn't seen Tony since Billy had turned his life inside out, and this time it hadn't even really been that deliberate. Partially, he'd just been too depressed. And then... it was shame, and a reminder of what he'd lost, and a confusing mess.

But with a few weeks of distance, he could also remember beyond the loss of a daughter who hadn't existed. He could recall he and Tony had been friends yet again, and how good that had felt. What a lovely second turn of the knife, then.

Still, he smiled at Tony, though there wasn't any openness to it. He'd treat this as business, because he was no longer inclined to give Tony Stark space to hurt him. But he would still play the game. "How embarrassing, to be caught in a state of virginity," he drawled. "I've been coasting on my beginner's luck this whole time, I'm afraid."

Though he couldn't help but add, "I trust your lady is well?"

"Shikamaru. He seemed adamant that the meeting be between you and him -- no one else."

[liaising]

"That question is a popular one," she responded in an even tone -- turning wholly to face Rogue and give her her complete attention. "Understandably, of course. It's hard to spend any time with other enclosures and not become just a little invested in their well-being."

Her reserve was professional, as if there was more she would like to say but was otherwise restrained by her position. So, gently: "I was removed from Vaskoth after the same draft many from your enclosure witnessed. Therefore, as I wasn't there at the time, all I know about their plight is second hand. The Count's forces -- Cultists, all of them -- invaded Vaskoth as slyly as they invaded Luceti. And with considerable more success."

"One man's vacation, sir, is another woman's work-abroad trip. My duties don't lessen just for the distance, I'm afraid."

She gave him a neat little curtsey and continued to smile. "What a lovely cape you have."

When Davis turned around, it was with a large chocolate milkshake with whipped cream. A cherry topped it all. When he looked up to talk to her, there was still whipped cream atop his lip. He didn't seem to realize.

"That's me." He paused as he looked her over. Recognition hit him and there was the smallest trace of a smile. "And you'd be Katara, right? From Luceti."

Davis shook his head and sighed. "I should have figured it'd be him. Any idea why?"

[Loki laughs.] What is that expression you mortals have, darling? Don't teach your mother to suck eggs, yes?

Humans are so odd. [But it does prove that Kirk isn't entirely full of himself. Though Loki had played him before, so knows him to be competent.] But well done.

[He casually raises the bet, just enough to tempt the others to continue and not spook the nervous ones.]

Loki gave her cleavage an assessing look. "I'll think of something."

Loki raised the bet again though with a show of reluctance, then glanced at the man who seemed very interested Rogue's charms. He very pointedly nuzzled her neck and said, "Ladies like a winner. Hope I can keep winning."

[He blinks, vaguely uncomfortable from the get-go. Being called a demon is one thing that usually doesn't sit well with him - but it being referred to in a positive way is entirely baffling to him. She certainly doesn't look like a typical girl. Kurt tries to be polite and smiles sheepishly.]

Me? [He points to himself with one of the fingers on his three-fingered hands.] I'm no costume - this is the real deal. But I wouldn't really call myself a demon...

[Kurt laughs at that while he has his own bag of popcorn in hand that he's munching on.]

Thanks for translating from candy corn language! Very considerate. [And he peers around.] How about the biggest and wildest ride we can find?

Wanda?! [He looks around in embarrassed confusion, as if expecting there to be some mistake.] Well, I'm starting to get the feeling I'm in line for these paddle-boats! [And it's not hard to see Wanda's line has the same endpoint.]

"He said it was a matter for the two of you and -- you know me, I tried not to pry. As requests made of a Liaison, though, I found it rather tame. Almost disappointing. I need to show them I can do more than make appointments for..." She glanced at him -- his new badge -- and almost smiled. "For whatever it is you are, now."

[Shrug.] I'm in the right line, right?

[The fact Mai is in this line is... suspicious, to say the least. Why would she be even in ANY line?]
