Summary: Kate and Wanda finally unveil their Nightclub.

[After a lot of preparation, opening night for Luceti's newest club is finally here. The music is loud and insistent, the kind where you have to shout a bit to be heard above the noise. Flashing, moving lights above reveal the purple decor, mostly devoid of chairs, and plenty of room to dance. A well stocked bar should be able to provide liquid courage to anyone too nervous to shake there groove-thang sober, while a patio out back affords a space for anyone wanting to have more intimate (or just quieter) interactions. ~~There's also a coat room, for anyone looking for a warmer spot for intimate interactions.~~

The doors open at seven, and will stay open until two am-- plenty of time to drink, dance, talk and generally have a good time. When the DJs aren't spinning, a house mix is put on, so there's never a quiet moment.]

The martial arts I learned from my dad actually. But the dance moves? Yeah, I learned that all from reading.

That's-- very impressive. I don't learn... anything when I read. [No, Wanda, you don't know how to read. There's a difference.]

My best friend is the same way, so don't feel bad. I had to walk him through our classes a lot in high school. If you ever want help with studying, you can contact me over the journals.

... I may do that. [Nooope. The fewer people who know her stupid secret the better. But the offer is appreciated.] So... if you don't dance as a president, what... do you do?

Board meetings, paperwork, meeting with other CEOs, parties, and sometimes going golfing. It's pretty boring.

Wow... Yeah. I mean-- no offense or anything but-- that sounds really dull. ... Do you at least like golf?

I tolerate it. But otherwise, no offense taken since I pretty much hate the job half of the time and try to get out of it.

Why... do you do it then? I mean-- does it have to stay in the family? Or can't your dad do it? Or-- something?

The original president was my grandpa, but then he passed away years ago so mom took over for him. But now she's kind of too old to do the job anymore and that's why I took over for her. And yeah, it has to stay in the family because it's been that way since my grandpa.

[When Wanda suggests his dad, he's trying not to laugh because his dad running Capsule Corp would be an awful idea.]

My dad doesn't really know much about the company like mom does or how to run a business. He's more of a fighter than a businessman.

Bulla's a little too young to run the company to be honest with you. But yeah, tolerance to boredom. My board members keep insisting I get married too, which is a little bit annoying.

[Wanda frowns, confused.] Why... should they care about that? That's none of their business.

Because I'm old enough to be married by now and have a kid according to their standards.

... But-- that's not something for a "they" to decide. ... Marriage is a-- "you" thing. ...It's personal.

I know it is, but I'm sure you know how society can be. Unless you live up to some standard, you get ridiculed and mocked for not living up to said standard.

... or if you surpass the standard by too much. ... People get very cranky if you're better than them, in some way. [Careful, Wanda, your racism is showing.]

I know how that is too. It was like that for me in high school because of how smart I was, but I won't bore you with that. Besides, we're here to have fun right? Do you want to dance?

[Trunks stands up and goes back on the dance floor, making sure Wanda is following him as he starts dancing more break dance like moves than his stiff movements from before.]

[Wanda is absolutely following him. He may not be interested in dating, but that doesn't mean she can't appreciate how good looking he is. In fact-- it makes him that much more attractive, knowing he's "Safe". Her own dance style is much more fluid than his, though she can appreciate his style entirely, and keeps an eye on him.

At some point she pauses in her dancing, and starts to try and mimic his style. She's not very good at it.]

[After a while, he starts getting tired from dancing again and needs a drink.]

I'm going to get a drink, you wanna come with me or are you gonna keep dancing?

[She pauses, considering for a moment, before shrugging. ]

I could use a drink. ... Your dance style is a lot of hard work!

[He takes a seat at the bar again and lets out a sigh of relief.]

Well if you're not really into martial arts and break dancing, it can be.

... I should do more martial arts. ... My brother is always on me about learning more of that stuff. ... I never thought I could use it to dance, though. [She slides onto the stool next to his.]
