Summary: Kate and Wanda finally unveil their Nightclub.

[After a lot of preparation, opening night for Luceti's newest club is finally here. The music is loud and insistent, the kind where you have to shout a bit to be heard above the noise. Flashing, moving lights above reveal the purple decor, mostly devoid of chairs, and plenty of room to dance. A well stocked bar should be able to provide liquid courage to anyone too nervous to shake there groove-thang sober, while a patio out back affords a space for anyone wanting to have more intimate (or just quieter) interactions. ~~There's also a coat room, for anyone looking for a warmer spot for intimate interactions.~~

The doors open at seven, and will stay open until two am-- plenty of time to drink, dance, talk and generally have a good time. When the DJs aren't spinning, a house mix is put on, so there's never a quiet moment.]

Whenever you can come in. Schedules are petty flexible around here. ... In Luceti, I mean. ... We're all trying to fill our time, but there's no real-- punishment for skipping out, other than ... how it effects other people. Right?

[Ginia nods in agreement. It's one reason she doesn't mind putting in more hours; it'll keep her busy and the music is good.]

I like to be reliable, and I like keeping to a regular schedule. Makes staying organized earlier.

Also aren't you supposed to be a bartender, Ginia? Huh, yeah, a good thing no one else is around.]

I'm being rude. Do you want something to drink?

Oh--! Well, I was just resting my feet, when I saw your show... but sure, why not? ... What do you have that's red? [Yes, Wanda orders her drinks by colour. Why?]

[Something red...]

Which do you like more; cranberries or strawberries?

[Her eyes go big.]

Oh... man. ... That's a hard one. ... Straw... berries. I think.

[Strawberries it is. Ginia walks to the fridge and pulls out a small carton of strawberries. She rinses and dries them off a handful of them before throwing them into a metal container and crushing them with a muddler. Ginia then pours in vodka and Crème de Cassis, adds ice, and puts another container on top and shakes it all together. She strains everything into a martini glass, and takes another strawberry, slices it in half and notches the tip and slips it on the glass as a garnish.

There, a strawberry martini. Ginia places it on a napkin and puts it in front of Wanda. Enjoy.]

[Wanda watches all this, enraptured once again.]

Did you-- just make that up? That looks amazing...! [She takes a sip.] That is amazing...!

[Ginia takes a moment to tidy up her area and wipe the counter and her hands off. She smiles at the compliment and bows her head.]

Thank you. No, I didn't make it up, I learned it from another bartender years ago.

[Wanda is still in awe.]

... I don't know how anyone keeps all that information in their heads... Then again, I guess I've just filled my head with hexes, instead of other things. ... We all have our talents. ... you're even clean. Amazing. [As the janitor, Wanda definitely appreciates that.]

[It's as Wanda says, everyone has their talents. Ginia gladly accepts being able to keep a running list of drink combinations in her head as one of them.]

Keeping your area clean only makes sense. Looks professional, makes it easier down the night if you get a large drink order. It's something my dad drilled into me.

... Father's are good for that. ... Always preparing you for everything life's going to throw at you.

[A small nod, a small smile. To fathers. Ginia can barely remember what her father looks like now, but she can remember his smile, his laugh, the sound of his voice. Maybe those are the important things. Better than the sight of him doubled over in pain, tied to a chair, bruised and bloody.]

To fathers, mothers, parents, guardians, and all those people that shape our lives.

[Wanda raises her glass happily, appreciative of the toast. ] ... Yes. To family.
